What's Next for Palin?

1105palin.jpg

John McCain conceded the presidential election to Barack Obama after Election Day yesterday -- now "Extra" is investigating what's in store for losing veep Sarah Palin!

"It's just so refreshing and so wonderful and she ain't going away either," country music legend Hank Williams Jr. told "Extra,' after he attempted to pump up the melancholy GOP crowd in Arizona. Sarah stood silently as McCain delivered his gracious concession speech to Republican supporters, and waved to the crowd as she exited the stage.

Will Tina Fey be retiring her "SNL" impersonation of the Alaska governor for good? Chris Matthews doesn't think so -- the MSNBC anchor thinks that Palin is a political force who's here to stay. "She hasn't had much chance yet. Watch her -- she's smart. She could become a real figure in the party if she does her homework."

Sarah's combination of straight talk and good looks has People magazine's J.D. Haymen thinking her future may be in television -- not politics. "Some people have suggested she might be a right wing Oprah."

McCain warmly praised his VP pick during his speech last night -- but body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass saw a chill in John and Sarah's embrace. "McCain withdrew a little quickly because he wasn't connected to her."

Even if the Arizona senator didn't feel the connection -- it's obvious some people did. "She really took over and became the star of the party," said Glass.

kiss his feet- What I said was not moronic are you bashing me now, please lets not go there. No one said his God nor do we act like it. He hasn’t parted not one sea or turn water into wine. His has a chance to prove himself. But God did give the knowledge to write good speeches that got people to vote for the first time and help us take a step in unity

Carol, kidding or not that was moronic. He’s not God. People need to stop acting like he is. Its disgusting and insulting. People don’t know the half of him. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be given time to prove himself but he’s proven nothing but that he can give a good speech.

Donna obviously copied and pasted the first line since she can’t spell the rest of her sentences. Regardless if Sophia was wrong about the first woman VP to be nominated, it was still a big step. Also, this isn’t the first African American president if you’re being so nit picky…he’s Bi-Racial. All this negativity and nastiness just shows that Tuesday really didn’t mean anything in terms of equality if you people are speaking to others this way.

Yeah you are bashing Carol, but Sophia is right about the experience. Obama has never done a thing for this country. Yes, he has good speech writers and knows how to play a crowd. He’s a great actor and would be a good lawyer but has NO qualifications for being a President. History should have been made by someone who deserved it…like Colin Powell. Obama’s a snake and his true colors will show for those of you who ignored the truth during the election to “make history” And PS if you want to stop racism it starts with each and every one of us. Stop calling people African Americans…we are all American thats it!

Hello! - You were all wrong about Sarah Palin-she is not the 1st vice president who got nominated. It was back in 1984, when Walter Mondale (D) nominated the 1st vice president named Geraldine Ferraro of N.Y.
Anyhow, I’m so relieved that Mc Cain & Palin didn’t win, they will make so many wrong for the America. Mc Cain is too old, what if he died during in office, then the wacko Palin takes over, who have no political experiences. Don’t likes that idea.

Sophia, let’s get this straight. I am NOT bashing , picking or putting any one down. I watch the interview with McCain campaign advisor and this came out his own mouth. He was told they coudn’t say anything until the election was over. She might have to same experiences as Obama, but he acted with more common sense than she did. I know this is history and glad to be apart of it

Hey Carol, She has the same amount of experience as the man just elected and she’s the only one out of all 4 that had a budget and stuck to it AND nobody mentions all of Michelle’s high priced ugly clothes. Stop bashing her, you have no idea what happened behind closed doors. There is so much hatred in this world its disgusting. We all have also overlooked the other moment in history. This was the first ever female up for election of VP Congratulations to all WOMEN out there!

McCain brought this on himself. He knew Palin was not qualified for VP. His own campaign said yesterday, they had much problems out of her. They gave her clothes to wear, but she would go out and buy thousands of dollars of more. She didn’t want anyone prepping her for interviews and wouldn’t know a thing when time came. She holler and fussed at everyone. The campaign didn’t like her and the main one that did got fired by McCain. He knew he had made a mistake, but it was to late to change anything. Like the old saying goes..what don’t come out in the wash will come in the rinse.

Well since she has the same amount of experience but more accomplishments then our newly elected president I would say she should focus on the rest of her term and run again. Maybe take a bit of a break after the past months…
