Only five million fans of Rosie O'Donnell tuned into her NBC variety show Wednesday night -- prompting Ro to pull the plug on "Rosie Live."

"there will b no more." Rosie writes on her blog. "no ratings. bad reviews."

O'Donnell's variety show ratings dimmed in comparison with Rosie's former "View" boss and nemesis Barbara Walters' interview with President-elect Obama and his wife Michelle, which also aired Wednesday night.

Still, O'Donnell blogs that even though the show tanked, she still had fun while it lasted, ending her post with, "still -- a thrill 4 me."

Maybe they’ll be another Rosie’s Family Cruise on HBO …

WOW! This should come as no surprise to anyone but Rosie. People want to feel encouraged. If I wanted to feel depressed I would watch Rosie.

It is too bad that Rosie’s new series was cancelled after one episode. Many televisions do poorly at first and only after a little time develop an audience. MASH and Seinfield are the two great examples of shows that did poorly in their Nielsens their first few shows and went on to become big hits. Certainly four shows is a minimum needed to see if a show has potential. It seems to me that Rosie is again being unfairly attacked for her social views rather than her work.

Wow, I’m shocked! A no-talent, over weight walking attitude fell out of favor. Funny, didnt Rosanne lead this parade a few years back? What I would like to see is Rosie take Baba Wawa out back and beat her like the circus mule that she is!!!
