Rosie Live Canned

1130rosie.jpg

Only five million fans of Rosie O'Donnell tuned into her NBC variety show Wednesday night -- prompting Ro to pull the plug on "Rosie Live."

"there will b no more." Rosie writes on her blog. "no ratings. bad reviews."

O'Donnell's variety show ratings dimmed in comparison with Rosie's former "View" boss and nemesis Barbara Walters' interview with President-elect Obama and his wife Michelle, which also aired Wednesday night.

Still, O'Donnell blogs that even though the show tanked, she still had fun while it lasted, ending her post with, "still -- a thrill 4 me."

A Rosie Show! What a waste of money, its like putting a gold ring in a sows nose, just like it.

NBC must be committed to killing itself. First the decide to remove Jay Leno and replace him with Conan, then they give Rosie a show….and don’t forget their really big blunder of canceling Star Trek

if Obama needs a Secretary of Loud Mouth, Rosie suits the position.

WORST. SHOW. EVER.

Rosie sucks. Why NBC wasted an entire hour on her is beyond me.

Sorry I missed Rosie’s show. Maybe it was BAD, but if being bad were the criteria for shows, we would certainly see much less. I am disappointed to read the meaness and hostility in these posts. Our country was founded by people who disagreed but were just as committed to being civil to disenting views. I dislike the slippery slope augement, but being mean with words seems ot lead to physical hostility.

rosie is a racist pig and the sad thing is this: so are most Americans.

Hmmm, that’s 5 million more viewers than I got on Wednesday. Wait, I don’t have a show, maybe I have no right to judge. Get a clue people.

If the Rosie fans would just follow their, “well pied”, piper over the cliff and into the sea, the world would be a better place.

It is said them who are to lazy to work, and to honest to steal sell used cars.and or by the looks of afternoon talk shows about every bore is on, who needs them in prime time.

Too bad. I liked Rosie when she first came on, but years of a confrontational, ‘chip-on-my-shoulder’ attitude have long since quenched my liking. As my grandmother said, “you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar’. A lesson Rosie should take to heart. Her antagonism, her desire to shout down any opposition or criticism of her point of view has lost her more fans than she gained. If you want people to watch you, Rosie, tone it down! And, if you want to have the same kind of variety as Carol Burnett, then learn from her gentle good humor. Constantly getting in people’s faces gets you nothing. Except canceled.

Now we know why she was attacking Barbara Walters. It was all a publicity stunt as was expected. It is really pathetic that she could still only get 5 million viewers even after the publicity stunt.

Had the Barbara Walters issues not come up I would not have even known about the show.

Rosie, hang it up before you embarrass yourself any further.

A blasphemous cow gets canceled, maybe America is starting to move in the right direction again. There is hope yet.

Now if they would only pull the plug on Rosie herself would this world be a better place.

The show was canceled because of the host. If I wanted to watch pigs dance, I would go to the state fair.

I agree I was expecting a completely different thing and when I saw her monologue bit. I knew it would tank.
Give it up RO you are no Carol Burnett!
The dancing cupcakes were horrible!
You would think that a little more thought would have went into it than what was presented for people to see.
People who watched it missed a good hour of watching something else.
Too bad we could have used some relief from the fray of reality TV,. RO just didn’t have it. NBC wakeup!!

c’mon people. how rude can you be, she is popular for being loud and having an attitude. Although she is not known for being sweet or skinny or even pretty, the show was cancelled prematurely. If it was cancelled its because it was corny show not because of the host.
