Rosie Live Canned

1130rosie.jpg

Only five million fans of Rosie O'Donnell tuned into her NBC variety show Wednesday night -- prompting Ro to pull the plug on "Rosie Live."

"there will b no more." Rosie writes on her blog. "no ratings. bad reviews."

O'Donnell's variety show ratings dimmed in comparison with Rosie's former "View" boss and nemesis Barbara Walters' interview with President-elect Obama and his wife Michelle, which also aired Wednesday night.

Still, O'Donnell blogs that even though the show tanked, she still had fun while it lasted, ending her post with, "still -- a thrill 4 me."

ABC AND CBS; DON’T HAVE ROSIE ON A SHOW, SHE WILL RUIN YOUR RATINGS. SHE’S A HAS BEEN.

No kidding! Rosie is old news, sort of like the black plague. A phenomemon that nobody wants to relive. Most of America is tired of Rosie. She made her sloppy existence known to the world. The world gasped, and then needed a breath of fresh air. Enough of Rosie. Very few really have any interest in her. Let her have her freedom to pursue her pathetic ambitions.

She is an foul blast from hell.
A wave of negative energy.
I am hoping she is finally gone for good.

I don’t think Rosie has a deep enough fan base to support a prime time television show. This should be a lesson to anyone interested in doing business with her. Man stream America has ostracized whatever venue she choose to appear. That is just too bad… If only she had stuck to entertainment and left everything else to the experts…

Visiting my aging parents, I was doing something in another room. Overheard in the living room after hearing Rosie’s annoying voice: (Channel surfing sound) Mom: Wait stop, go back I like her. (Channel switches to Rosie)30 second pause. Dad: Owww. C’mon. I would rather watch a dog fight.
I am now stepping out into the living room to see Rosie and Liza doing a soft shoe and i’m thinking “Oh boy, this is off to a bad start”.
Perhaps we have finally seen the last of this bloated highly over-rated woman.

I am bummed that I missed Rosie singing with another no-talent, Rachel Ray. I heard it stunk like one of RR’s casseroles

I have been in show business over 20 years. This show showed Rosie as the no talent that she is! Where was the creativity? Where were the sets? When Ed Sullivan hosted his show he announced his guests, and then moved out of the way and let them do their thing. What was she doing when she just stood and looked at Harry Connick Jr. when he was singing. NOTHING…that’s what.Poor Harry!!Love him!! I had to plug my ears when Rosie was singing with Liza. I am not sure who through who off but it was off key. And Alec Baldwin looked like a overstuffed … who looked like he was puffed up from to much to drink. What kind of entertainment did he offer….NOTHING. Just a stupid door. Look at all the successful variety shows like Carol Burnett who had a cast of funny, talented people to help. I am sure that Rosie has made so many enemies that who would want to be put in a situation to take all her abuse and heavy handed control.Well Rosie you wanted to be THE BOSS…your fired… After the show was over and I stopped laughing at RO getting her just deserved karma I saw a promo for a Christmas variety show that will be aired at Rockafeller Center. I am sure that they will feature a talented host not a selfcentered ego manical bully. And to PhilosopherJay…obviously you didn’t watch the show!!

I have always loved Rosie, she is a good person, I am proud of her. I will alway support her in anyway possible. I still have my Rosie doll and I am proud of that too. There are to many haters out there that need to look in the mirror. like what you see?? because I don’t like what you are writing.

Put lipstick on a pig and what do have?
A pig wearing lipstick.
Somebody, please, lead Rosie back to her pen, throw her some slop like she does her fans and let her waller in the muck where she is most comfortable. Hey, and don’t let her out again, OK?

What is not said here is why it was awful. Not only was it stilted, but she and the directors did not let any of the stars perform the way they can, the new unknowns were not much, the script simply stunk, the stage was a dark mess, and the entertainment level was torture.

I too think that it is about time that entertainment industry quits trying to push Rosie and her lifestyle and mean spirited-ness on the rest of us. Just like Rosie-Ellen Degeneres is not half as good at her job or half as funny and appealing now that her show has become a total mouthpiece about her gay marriage. Who cares? I couldnt stand Kathy Lee Gifford when she was with Regis and talked about nothing but her family and kids every day either. No one wants to hear all that BS.

Most people in this country do not buy into the Hollywood-star life style, which Rosie is a part. Nor do they like her bully like persona. Americans vote with their remotes. They don’t want to watch Rosie or anything similar to her even though TV executives keep trying to sell her to us. For me, the dismal ratings were not surprising. I suspected as much even before the show aired.
