Rosie Live Canned

1130rosie.jpg

Only five million fans of Rosie O'Donnell tuned into her NBC variety show Wednesday night -- prompting Ro to pull the plug on "Rosie Live."

"there will b no more." Rosie writes on her blog. "no ratings. bad reviews."

O'Donnell's variety show ratings dimmed in comparison with Rosie's former "View" boss and nemesis Barbara Walters' interview with President-elect Obama and his wife Michelle, which also aired Wednesday night.

Still, O'Donnell blogs that even though the show tanked, she still had fun while it lasted, ending her post with, "still -- a thrill 4 me."

I watched it and I like Rosie but it was not enough variety, should have less of Rosie Liza was great but Rosie should have introduced her and got off the stage Alec Baldwin was funny but again but it was a badly written skit and the writers did a really poor job the jokes missed totally I was expecting more of an Ed Sullivan type show updated and it would have worked and by the way personal comments are just showing how limited you own mind is

I would prefer to watch Ellen now more than ever over Regis and Kelly and Rosie for entertainment purposes.
I think that Rosie’s constantly gabbing on anything to do with politics or TV in general, has gone way out of hand and over her head.
Now, how would “her Tommy” Cruise approve of all of that, do you think.

Now, why does this “news” not surprise, let alone shock me, at the very least.
I enjoyed watching her program several years ago (The Rosie O’Donnell Show) as well as the movie “A League Of Their Own”.
But, after seeing her on “The View” espcially during all those (nasty) political remarks, I think that it went all down hill for her from there, and this “new” short-lived “program” was not very good enough for her to try and make a ” TV comeback” so to speak, if you ask me.

LMAO.. I predicted this show would flop from the first promo I saw!! I also predicted that she’d continue to be a loud mouthed, no talent, worthless, waste of time and oxygen. Again, I was correct.

She needs to get off her political soap box, her gay soap box, and over-barring opinionated soap box, and come back down to earth.

Hopefully this is a rude awakening for Rosie! And she’ll finally discover how much people are truly tired of her obnoxiousness! Glad to hear that NBC had yet another train-wreck. Oh the desperation when you hit rock-bottom. That goes for both NBC and Rosie!

Delighted as can be she was CANCELLED!!

I saw the show and now have read the post others have left about Rosie. I too thought the show was a disappointment in every way. Her political comments where uncalled for and tasteless. It was clearly a career low for her. That said, all the name calling (“pig”)venom spewing comments others posted about her makes them look like pathetically small minded morons themselves!

I changed the channel the minute she mentioned Barack Obama and thanking God for his winning the election. I am not even remotely interested in celebrity opinions and they dont have the right to exploit their celebrity in order to stuff their political agenda down our throats. Rosie seems bitter and negative just because life isnt what she would like it to be. She is just really sad and needs to take another path on her career. I think she is a good actress, I loved her as Betty Rubble:)

Rosie is great at what Rosie does best. Interview people she respects and understands. She is brave and sincere, and sometimes naive. The “fat” comments are very childish. You try getting a show on TV. Not gonna happen.

As Trump said “Rosie is a loser.” I’m no big fan of Trump either, but I can’t stand Rosie one bit. Anyone remember how she dumped on Tom Selleck years ago on her talk show? Not much of a host.

Rosie O’Donnell has proven herself to be a moronic, crass, foul-mouthed, bitter pig. I could go on…. :)

Have a happy life everyone! Rosie, you too, you stinking pig.

Happy Days! :)

She’s truly a vile and worthless creature, not entertaining, not nice, not pretty, nothing left - much like that aged beast Madonna who is soiling newsprint this day as well. May they disappear into hagdom quietly and quickly, without any one else noticing or pretending to care.

Dolly Parton tried much the same thing years ago and it failed. But with her past expertise, she had a two year contract. So she made a small fortune once it was canceled.

But Rosie made the same mistake Dolly did. Too much of her and not enough of anyone else. The variety show is history. But I do have to say the show was not that bad, but not something I would watch every week. My main thought was who could she come up with next week. She already had everyone she knew on except Barbra and Donald.
