After almost nine months of dating, People magazine reports heiress Paris Hilton and rocker Benji Madden have broken up.

A source close to Hilton tells the magazine, "She is saddened by the breakup but they're just too different and they wanted different things in life. He was loyal and sweet, but it was time to take a break."

This past weekend, Paris was spotted at Miami hotspot Mokai with shipping heir and ex-BF Stavros Niarchos. Earlier in the week, Hilton and Madden went out in L.A., but partied in separate locations.
