Palin Fights Back!

Gov. Sarah Palin wants to clear up her recent geography mishap. The VP wannabe told CNN the McCain aides bashing her to the media are "jerks."

McCain camp sources leaked the news that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent. Palin informed the CNN reporter, "I consider [anonymous sources] cowardly." Palin also clarified "it's not true" she didn't know the countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Do you think you are smarter than Sarah Palin? Take "Extra's" quiz and find out!

NEXT: 'Lost' Premiere Date Announced!

Shame, Shame on Extra for running biased stories on Palin that resemble school yard bullying! We wonder why teens today have no empathy and can attack each other with such incredible cruelty. That too, I’m afraid, can be traced back to the media. Your coverage had nothing to do with quality journalism or reporting facts. It mimicked high school drama between the popular and unpopular.

People today have a “herd mentality.” You don’t think for yourself, you just go with popular opinion. That’s just like a group of children ganging up on the one defenseless child. They don’t even know why they are doing it. It’s simply the thing to do because everyone else is doing it.

Take a moment people and think… words are so hurtful. Sarah Palin has children. How do you think seeing their mother singled out, ripped apart, and humiliated makes them feel?

Don’t watch EXTRA anymore. It exits simply to celebrate the “popular crowd.” Didn’t you get enough of that in high school. Who cares what a bunch of celebrities do. They don’t live in the real world. They don’t even have real jobs. They receive money for doing nothing but pretending. How important should their opinion be?

So how about putting some of Biden’s huge slip ups that are on film. Is he forgiven because he’s old and the blood doesn’t get to his brain? Be fair on the same show.

Can’t wait…this will be our world…what a shame
The Barnyard

Once upon a time, on a farm in Virginia, there was a little red hen who
scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of
wheat. She called all of her neighbors together and said, ‘If we plant
this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?’

‘Not I,’ said the cow.
‘Not I,’ said the duck.
‘Not I,’ said the pig.
‘Not I,’ said the goose.

‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen, and so she did.

The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain.

‘Who will help me reap my wheat?’ asked the little red hen.

‘Not I,’ said the duck.
‘Out of my classification,’ said the pig.
‘I’d lose my seniority,’ said the cow.
‘I’d lose my unemployment compensation,’ said the goose.

‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen, and so she did.

At last it came time to bake the bread. ‘Who will help me bake the
bread?’ asked the little red hen.

‘That would be overtime for me,’ said the cow.
‘I’d lose my welfare benefits,’ said the duck.
‘I’m a dropout and never learned how,’ said the pig.
‘If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination,’ said the goose.

‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen. She baked five
loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see.

They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. But the
little red hen said, ‘No, I shall eat all five loaves.’

‘Excess profits!’ cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
‘Capitalist leech!’ screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)
‘I demand equal rights!’ yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Ted Kennedy)
And they all painted ‘Unfair!’ picket signs and marched around
and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.

Then the farmer (Obama) came. He said to the little red hen,
‘You must not be so greedy.’

‘But I worked hard and earned the bread,’ said the little red hen.

‘Exactly,’ said Barack the farmer. ‘That is what makes our free enterprise
system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants.

But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must
divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle.’

And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who
smiled and clucked, ‘I am grateful, for now I truly understand.’

But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread
because she joined the ‘party’ and got her bread free. And all the
Democrats smiled. ‘Fairness’ had been established. Individual initiative
had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared… so long as there was
free bread that ‘the rich’ were paying for.

EPILOGUE

Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs. Hillary got $8
million for hers. That’s $20 million for the memories from two people, who
for eight years, repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn’t
remember anything.

IS THIS A GREAT BARNYARD OR WHAT?

It was not only my opinion, but yes I
agree with that opinion and it’s true.
Whether you want to believe it are not
oh brrrrother. Obama has a great task
ahead of him but with God all things are
possible and he wants God to use him.

Rico, you said a mouthful. Extra should just stick to what they do best…their stupid Luxaholic segement and all the other crap they show.

My suggestion to EXTRA: steer clear of politics, and go back to covering the “important” issues that you have become known for. Like “…what pimple cream has Lindsey Lohan switched to”, -or- “…what’s next for Sanjaya’s hair”. Your catty name-calling and rumor-foisting does not serve you well on the political scene, as it lays bare your obvious one-sided take.

Wow, catty EXTRA drama-queen writers certainly have it out for Sarah Palin. First, by setting up a silly “quiz” based on rumors about her alleged foibles on the campaign trail, and then by using the absolute *worst picture of her ever taken for a home page news story about her. Your vapid gossip show and web page must feel very threatened by Sarah to take such cheap shots! What a childish bunch. 2 snaps!

Lavern, you have a problem. All I said basically was that the media was afraid to bash Obama, nothing about who was more fit to be president. Nothing was mentioned about intellect. McCain and Palin were always being criticized for anything they said, but Obama wasn’t even when he was rude about Joe the Plumber. So, you go get a life. GEEZ!
Reporters need to be fair when covering anything.

Crazy Sarah don’t know much Palin. Needs to go back to the woods of Alaska and stay there. I’m thankful and grateful to Katie Couric for exposing her to the fraud she is. Glad I don’t have to listen to her or McCain. ViVA PRSESIDENT OBAMA!!!

Want to know where we’re going? Globalization. Britian’s Prime Minister Gordon Brown & Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev are calling Obama to move toward “globalization” or “perestroika” reforms to overcome the financial crisis and restore balance in the world. The term perestroika, meaning restructuring, was used by Gorbachev in the late 1980s to describe a series of reforms that abolished state planning in the Soviet Union.

Holy cow…
You know what this means….

“a grumpy old man”

“mean”

“a trickster”

All wonderful reasons to not elect John McCain? If that’s your opinion, which has been evident from you since you began posting here, then so be it.

But yes indeed military experience should be required (in my humble opinion) due to the state of the world in general. In this nuclear age and this time of terrorism, that military background would definately come in handy!

So far as I am reading Obama has been elected “to make history”… “as the first Black President”… “for change”… “for inspiration”…

As I have said a number of times already, I am still on the lookout for that list of accomplishments as compared to his running mate John McCain.

I’m still trying to find the “patriot moment” of Barack Huessein Obamas life in dedication to his country?

I’m still looking for what Barack Huessein Obama has done for his country, but continue only to find more of what he has done for himself.

I still question his character, his judgment, and his agenda,… and will “hope” for the best, but expect the worst.

I do not see how serving in the military
makes someone fit to be Commander in Chief. I have relatives that have served
in the military for 30 years and I guess
that would make them fit to be Commander
in Chief but I don’t think so and they
don’t either. McCain ran against President Bush and lost. They say he is
very mean and I can see that he is a grumpy old man and I don’t think he can
keep anyone safe. A Senator said he was
a trickster. It wasn’t meant for him
to be President.

Way to unify darling.

Just call others ignorant, that’ll make things fall into place huh?

What you seem to dismiss, much like the media nation that promoted us this new celebrity president,.. is the true fact of his associations. His “questionable” associations. This brings into question the mans judgment, ethics, morals, and agenda!

Why have any association with a known terrorist Bill Ayers… then claim you were 8 years old when you met him, all the while KNOWING you had served on a board with him. Why not get up and walk out of a church that has a preacher spewing hatred not only to white people but to America as a whole? (Reverend Wright)..

Bill Ayers = Radical, Reverend Wright = Radical. Are you too blind to see a patern here, or do you simply choose ignorance!? Cause, while these issues were of zero importance to media, they were actually very important to some of us. Associations do matter, history does matter. And experience IS a must.

Three years in the Senate and Harvard hardly qualifies one to be President! If ya ask me, to achieve the “Commander In Chief” position of this country one should at the very least have a bit of a military background!!

Harvard is school, THIS is real life, real issues, and many of them Oblahma knows absolutely nothing about, and you’re wondering why people are nervous?

Smooth speeches, telling people what they want to hear INSTEAD of the truth isn’t gonna stop a nuclear warhead headed for our country. Nor is it gonna stop those terrorist that would like to wipe the world clean of the USA.

You can continue to smoke your peace pipe,.. but when you get finished singing kumbaya, the world is still in a shambles, and we’ll have only our “historic President” to rely on to keep us safe and a power to be reckoned with!

Do you honestly feel safe right now?

Do you truly believe a 26 year Senator, 22 year veteran, 5 year p.o.w. isn’t qualified to be President?

I personally think John Sidney McCain not only DESERVES HIS COUNTRYS HONOR to be President, but has proven himself to have EARNED IT!? You can’t say that about the man whom was elected to the position.

Your disrespect for a true patriot disgust me,.. but again, that’s my own personal opinion.

People, people. What are you saying? Mccain and Palin together did not have the intellect or knowledge together to match Senator Obama intellect. He is a Harvard educated contstitutional lawyer. Wake up!! Is it so hard to acknowledge that one person trumps two people who did not have the intelligence to run this country in such difficult times? Who could nto agree that Gov. Palin truly believed that because Russia is next to Alaska that gave her knowledge of foreign affairs. And what about Sen. McCain who kept forgetting names, and couldn’t figure out Iraq’s two factions. And what about his record of supporting the Armed Forces and Veterans gave him an F in support of benefits for the veterans? Not only that, but what experience does he have. I loved McCain for years until he showed a lack of ethical behavior and vindictiveness in not repudiating Gov. Palin’s divisiveness. And as for experience, George Bush had experience as a Governor and yet he managed to screw up the economy, the rights of people and divide this country in half. At least we can start a clean slate with a person who will work analytically and intelligently to move the country forward and get us out of this mess. Even McCain admitted he knew nothing about economics and his doctrine in foreign affairs would be to have an already streched troops to solve foreign affair issues. Wake up Obama haters — If you complain so much, why don’t you run for President yourself — is it because you are ignorant and uneducated. Read the facts instead of spitting out the lies.Recognize that we need a leader with a brain and smarts and Obama, thank God has been placed to help all of us not just ignorants who can’t see past their own nose.

Oh yeah, Lavern..the news media not afraid to bash Obama? What a crock. They were biased, plain and simple. Even one of the posters said that the Washington Post admitted as such. They all kissed his rear end. NOW, that he has been elected, they are making fun of his remarks like the one where he said we have 57 states. Also, where he disrespected Nancy Regan and he had called her to apologize.

Absolutely nothing negative can be said about Barack Obama!!

Why?

Because you’d be dubbed a Racist no matter what you did.

Make a joke about him, question his experience, probe his associations, etc.

If you’re gonna say his name, then it had better be followed by praise and admiration! Or you are a RACIST???
(starting to wonder when people will begin receiving 666 on their foreheads).

Rediculous really.. disrespect Governor Palin and nothing is said about womens rights, or being a sexist.

Tear up John McCain because he’s just “an old man”..? DISRESPECTFUL!!!

Right now, I hope that the speech writer for Barack Huessein Obama dies,.. least you’d start to get a sense of the real Obama then.

Amy, at least one paper had the guts to admit they were biased for Obama. Most people knew the media was..they were to quick to capitalize on anything Palin and McCain said that they did not like, but when Obama/Biden made comments, they were mostly swept under the rug so to speak. The media, Tom Brokaw in particular, tried to say that Joe the Plumber was not real. REALLY????

Are you so distracted by this story that you’re not following the real issues?

1) “President-elect Obama plans to use his executive powers to make an immediate impact when he takes office, perhaps reversing Bush administration policies on stem cell research and domestic drilling for oil and natural gas….Bush used his executive power to limit federal spending on embryonic stem cell research, a position championed by opponents of abortion rights who argue that destroying embryos is akin to killing a fetus. Obama has supported the research in an effort to find cures for diseases such as Alzheimer’s. Many moderate Republicans also support the research, giving it the stamp of bipartisanship.
On drilling, the federal Bureau of Land Management is opening about 360,000 acres of public land in Utah to oil and gas drilling. Bush administration officials argue that the drilling will not harm sensitive areas; environmentalists oppose it.

“They want to have oil and gas drilling in some of the most sensitive, fragile lands in Utah,” John Podesta, Obama’s transition chief, said. “I think that’s a mistake.” (STEPHEN OHLEMACHER)

REALLY? SO IF YOU’RE AGAINST DRILLING AND COAL…WHERE ARE WE GOING TO GET ENERGY AND POWER FROM? AS FOR EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH - THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER SOURCES OF STEM CELL DATA TO CONDUCT RESEARCH. TO THIS DAY, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PULL TOWARD AN INFERIOR SOURCE - EMBRYOS.

ps - Jakemax - for your humor…
according to one reporter at the WASHINGTONPOST “We were biased for Obama. Oops. Sorry…”

JERKS.

For all those focused on the alledged “I can see Russia from my house” remark by Sarah Palin..

I say, there is something to be learned from that..

Get ready to be living as the Russians do. This President marks the beginning of the end of the free world.

Honestly, do you truly feel SAFE???
