Renowned American fashion designer Narcisco Rodriguez dressed Michelle Obama in the now famous black and red dress on the Election Night. Hailed as the "King of Minimalism," Rodriguez gained international attention when in 1996 he designed the much imitated wedding dress his friend Carolyn Bessette wore when she married John F. Kennedy, Jr. Rodriguez's celebrity clients include Salma Hayek, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Weisz and Oprah Winfrey.
