Jolie: 'I Don't Plan to Keep Acting Very Long'

Angelina Jolie has revealed that she is getting ready to leave acting. She told the BBC, "I don't plan to keep acting very long. I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day."

The mother of six plans to "work for a few months" this February and then take time off. "I won't work again probably for another year. So maybe it'll be once a year, then maybe it'll be once every three years... I like being home a lot."

Angie's priorities right now are kids and family. "I have a lot of children. I have a big responsibility to make sure that they're growing right and that they have got us there for them," says the superstar.

The Oscar winner currently stars in Clint Eastwood's "The Changeling." Jolie's next flick "The Mercenary: Love and Honor" is in production and set for a 2009 release.

I was still expecting action that will be harder than Wanted but i guess everybody got to rest too especially when you got other people who need your attention.

She is a gorgeous woman. She does some worthy/good things and she may (or may not) be a good Mother (we only see what they want us to see) …. BUT she did knowingly enter a relationship with a married man, she is still a woman living “in sin” and having children out of wedlock … not a very good example, in my opinion - which I am entitled to.

And she said on a CNN interview she would never have a r’ship with a married man - so she is also a liar and a hypocrite.

Sorry Hollywood. Some things are just wrong.

Wah Wah Wah. I’m going to fade away …. Angelina Jolie admitted (slipped up) on national TV that she fell in love (again) with a married man … and she’s getting a little backlash from it. Pitt is in the news because he is chummy with his new co-star … hey Angelina, how does THAT feel? What happened to the day when a wife expected her husband to go to work, do his job and remain faithful and loyal? IF IF IF there were problems in the Pitt-Aniston marriage and only those 2 know for sure … it never justifies adultery!

Jennifer Aniston did NOT speak out until Angelina went public with the in love information (Pitt WAS married during the filming of the movie) … and now she has only answered a question and was NOT malicious about it - admitting adultery is inappropriate and uncool.

Part of society’s problem today is “anything goes” … well, sorry. IT DOESN’T.

anglina starred in a movie with billy bob thornton. billy bob’s girlfriend was laura dern and they broke off their relationship becuz that pathetic angleina wanted billy bob and she got him and he married angelina. he was smart and left her sorry azz. I dont like either angelina or brad. and if angelina fades away the world will be a better place, i dont watch their movies and never will. they are both raunchy nasty, liars, and home wreckers. i m for jen all the way….she has alot of class and those of you standing up for brad and angelina are dumb and stupid yeah u heard me u r dumb and stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer is 39+ and very used to the ways of HW . She is not an innocent teen . She was married for 6+ years and could not compromise in the goals of her then husband and hers . They are obviously very diferent . He enjoys and feel inclined to be a humanitarian and she does not . She feels as though she deserves an oscar and he knows that she will never get one .He is very down to earth and humble and she is not . How long does he have to pay for a very bad mistake is marrying the wrong person ?

I like her characters and I like her acting. What is sad is how she hooked up with Brad. The split she caused is going to happen to her and then she will fully understand how hurtful her actions were to Jennifer. The old saying “What goes around comes around”, is in her near future. Sad!

Good riddance…not my favorite actress. I get the feeling she is probably not telling the truth…maybe she wants everyone to beg her to keep making movies….her acting is not that great. I don’t care how many children she has…she is not a very credible person.
