Did the National Enquirer really swipe a dirty diaper to prove John Edwards fathered a baby out of wedlock?

Sounds gross, but it's true! The North Carolina senator allegedly fathered a love child with Rielle Hunter and the Enquier borrowed a diaper for a DNA sample. In February, Hunter gave birth to a daughter, but did not list the father's name on the birth certificate.
