In research conducted at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, researchers found people identify with celebrities in order to boost their sense of immortality.

I don’t watch Extra or any other Hollywood celebrity news show….too many rich people rambling on about nothing!
Watching programs like this cannot be healthy at all. Stress levels rise, jealousy and envy of the rich, .. lust for the pretty people, gossip gossip gossip.. trash trash trash.
This show could actually lead to suicide. Nothing about this program could possibly lower anxiety??

Thats the biggest load of crap i have ever heard. Thats like saying “Hey, if people watch a show about mountains it will help them get over their fear of heights”.

I enjoy coming home from work and relaxing by watching certain shows such as Etra. I do however find it very frustrating to have your “Teases” throughout the show which say you can only find out on Extratv.com. This is highly annoying because I don’t want to run to my computer! I just want to relax! Please stop this nonsense or I will be watching another gossip entertainment show.
