Hugh Jackman Named Sexiest Man Alive

"Australia" star Hugh Jackman has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive -- a title that comes as no surprise to co-star Nicole Kidman. "Women's jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room," she tells the magazine.

Hugh's wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, has to agree. Jackman states that when Furness found out, she said, "I could've told them that years ago!" Then, she jokingly added, "Obviously, Brad wasn't available this year."

Jackman and Furness have been married 12 years and have two children -- Oscar, 8, and Ava, 3. Jackman says that while being chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive is an honor, it's his family that he is most proud of. "We are happy. Deb and my kids have been the best things that have ever happened to me, without a doubt."

"Extra's" Mario Lopez, "Twilight" stud Robert Pattinson and "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford also made the list. People's Sexiest issue hits stands this Friday.

My absolute favorite is David Beckham and George Clooney rocks even at his age. I use to like Lee Majors back in the days of the Big Valley-He was hot!!

I really enjoy each year when People magazine comes out with the Sexiest Man Alive isssue.
It’s very interesting each uear to see who will be on the cover.
George and Brad have been on the list many times through out the years.
It’s great to see Hugh Jackman on it for a change. :) :) :)

Ouch, bet that this was quite a pin-hole in the ballooned ego of the likes of George Clooney!

I think Jackman likes himself, but is much more modest than most of these flakes that people come up with each year!
