Hudson Family Members Mourned

Family and friends of Jennifer Hudson -- including Oprah Winfrey -- gathered in Chicago Sunday to pay their respects to her late mother, brother and nephew -- all victims of homicide.

The memorial service was held Pleasant Gift Baptist Church, Jennifer's childhood parish on the south side of the Windy City. Jennifer did not attend the services. Hudson's sister Julia -- mother of victim Julian King, 7 -- also did not attend the memorial service. Private funeral services are scheduled for today.

Darnell Donerson, 57, Jason Hudson, 29 were shot and killed October 24, Julian's body was found October 27. Chicago police reported last week that they found the gun used in all three deaths. Police have ruled the killings "domestic related" -- and labeled Jennifer's estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, as a "person of interest" in the case.

I’m so,so very sorry of the tribulation of life, that you all went through. I know the horrior of going through the lost of a love one in such a hateful way. We lost our eldiest Brother to Murder in his home,but, believe me the Holy spirit will come and the healing will begin. vengeance is mine saith the Lord,and he will fight your battle. My God will supply all that is needed to see you all through this.

Stand Strong and see the salvation of the Lord come to Past.

Dear jennifer,
Please take some comfort in knowing that your family members are in the arms of the angel’s & that god is beside them & you & your family.
I too lost my younger brother when he was 26 yrs old,The pain never goes away but some how we make it through each day. I believe because they help us too. My heart is heavy for you & yours.

Sorry for your lost. God will take care of you and your family. I have been there and it will not be easy. Keep making your mother proud, even though she will not be there in the body, but i know that she will be there in the spirit. Just sing.. Sing out the pain…and open your heart for love from us who are behind you and the new family that He will give unto you some day.

Jennifer, My prayers really goes out to you in your time or distress and sorrows I come from a huge family of ten with mother and father and family have been threaten for years and now at the age of 49 years of age I have only 2 sibling under me and both are sickly and fathers in a nursing home i thank god everyday for a clean bill of health sometime I feel so lonely not having a siater or brother especially my mother but God has strenghten me through the years people just can’t beleive how I live daily we just have to stay before God for Courage and Strenght. As the Bible says Prayers of the Righteous avails much…Keep your Head Up Because Gods Got You, you are Truly his Child continue to be Blessed. God give her Strenght everyday be Encouraged Love You!

Jennifer, I lost my baby sister at 20 years to violence and it’s something never get over. It’s one thing if a family member is sick and another if they are taken from you by violence. You always wonder what they felt and if they suffered during the ordeal. You do move on but you can never forget that
violence took their lives and always want closier with apprehension of the perpetrator. YOU NEVER GET OVER IT!!

Jennifer, My pray are with you and your family. I know it seem so hard right now but God has you in his arm. I know how you feel. I lost my older son 13 years ago, he was murder. I have buried two children. That put a hold in my heart. Jennifer,God know our hurt and pain. In time he will healed you and the family. My Father and elder brother Jesus, watch over the Hudson family as they go though Lord. Healed there pain Lord, Bless them to find the peace in all of this. In Jesus name Lord AMen.

I think that Jennifer Hudson’s, mom, brother,& nephew were all killed I can only imagine how she feels but I do know how it feels to loose a parent because when I was 10 going on 11 my real dad past away from diabetes and we were really close so I would like Jennifer to know that her and her family are in my prayers
