Get Groovy, Baby, With Barneys

Barneys New York just unveiled their new "Peace + Love: Have a Hippie Holiday" boho chic windows to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the peace sign with journalist Tom Brokaw cutting the ribbon. Paying tribute to the sixties' turbulent time, creative director Simon Doonan collaborated with the haute eco-fashion organization Earth Pledge to create over 30 peace-sign inspired dresses on display by Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez, Isabel Toledo, Maison Martin Margiela and Michael Kors and others.

Peace sign turns 50

From a custom-painted Goyard bag to Crockett & Jones velvet slippers to a one-of a-kind VW Beetle painted by artist John-Paul Philippe, Barneys commissioned designers to create hundreds of peace sign related and eco-friendly holiday gifts featured in the store's current catalog.
