Election Day Explosions on 'The View'!

1104view.jpg

The hostesses on "The View" have overheated during political debates this year -- and Election Day proved to be no exception!

Left-leaning hostesses Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar got into it again with conservative colleague Elisabeth Hasselbeck over Barack Obama's controversial former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. At one point, Goldberg snapped, "I'm trying to educate you!" Hasselbeck shot back, "I don't need an education" -- to which Whoopi exploded, "Well, you do!"

The former "Survivor" took on the rest of her more liberal fellow hostesses regarding the integrity of both John McCain and Barack Obama -- leading up Joy Behar's dramatic walk off the stage!

When it seemed the dust had settled, longtime Republican Dennis Hopper came on the show and revealed that he cast his vote for Barack because McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, saying, "I voted for Obama. Palin finally sent me over to the other side."

elisabeth has alot of anger and animosity. she needs to control her anger. she doesnt get the point across with me. i m not a liberal either..i m a conservative…i still don’t like eliabeth’s tactics.if she was to calm down and talk normally she would do a wonderful job. a person can get more bees with honey than vinegar.

If all of the celeb’s and you other liberal pukes dont want to make this about race, then quit saying how historical this election is. Obama is just a man, not the celebrity he likes to act like he is, and the celebrity that all you sheep flock to see. I hope he can do 1/2 of what he says…as far as Elizabeth, why are her views any less important than Joy or Whoppi’s? They sure speak their minds….

I am with Elisabeth. Something is rotten in Denmark. I believe Elisabeth will have plenty of opportunities to say “I told you so”.

“The former “Survivor” took on the rest of her more liberal fellow hostesses regarding the integrity of both John McCain and Barack Obama — leading up Joy Behar’s dramatic walk off the stage!”

I’ve seen the show and Joy Behar did walk off the stage because they were having a break not because of what annoying stuff Elizabeth was saying. It’s not like she walked out in the middle of the discussion..although Behar might have wanted to do it several times over when Elizabeth starts to become unreasonable…PLEASE MAKE A MORE ACCURATE CLAIM NEXT TIME…

Thank God we have one Republican who can go up against all the other celebrities that are shoving their Democratic views down our throats. Kudos to you Elizabeth, its nice to actually here something else that isn’t blatently one sided and talk about how wonderful Barack is going to be. I like so many other conservatives are scared now that he will have free rain of our country. Yes, give us a big ol tax break Obama and pull us out of Iraq and let this country be take over by Terrorists! I think the Country made a big mistake and soon everyone will see that. I’m glad that Elizabeth will be on air everyday to point that our to America!!!

Elizabeth seems to have her own agenda. Her arguments do not make since,
She looks foolish and bitter.
Her highschool cheerleader tantrums are embarrasssing to intelligent women.

SO…. Now that OBAMA has won the presidential race…what will “poor republican Elizabeth” do now? Her beloved candidate had conceded graciously…would she follow suit and be gracious in the show to acknowledge Obama who will be her President by January 20? hmmmm…i wonder!!!

- Hope Obama wins!

The producers tell Elisabeth to be animated—without her there would be no controversy and therefore no ratings and no mention of the View on websites and news broadcasts.
I don’t mind political discussion, but someone needs to tell Ms. Goldberg to get her facts straight—the other day she said that even if a business made $200K it didn’t mean the individual made that much—totally wrong. The whole point of Joe the Plumber was that small business are run as sole proprietorships and taxed through the individual, i.e. the business and the individual are one and the same. Today she screamed that Ayers was cleared of bombing charges, when in fact he was convicted and served time in federal prison. The list is endless for all of the hosts, including Barbara! If you don’t want to research it, don’t talk about it..

I am an EDUCATED WOMAN and didn’t vote for McCain. I knew how I was voting and who for. Let me say this. Everyone has a PAST. Leave it there, Elizabeth !!!

Everyone needs to realize something about Hasselbeck. She doesn’t allow room for anyone else’s opinion because, as stupid as she is, she is aware that if anyone else gets a word in edge wise she will have no argument because nothing intelligent comes out of her mouth. So, therefore, she must keep talking over everyone without allowing for any other opinion so as not to put hers to shame.
And on another note, this message is for “shack and surprise” who commented on this site—-you have only named the black celebs who support Obama and called it a race thing. It is a race thing. A race for the white house. If you are referring to color you forgot the millions of white people and white celebs who also support Obama. You also must not be aware of the many, many black men and women who were supporting Hillary Clinton in the beginning of this when Hillary was up against Obama. He was black back then as well you know. And let’s just say they are supporting him just because he is black. I would have to give them that since this would be the FIRST black presidential candidate in the history of presidents. I would have to say the black race is LONG overdue for their turn in the white house.
P.S. I am a white female. So it is not a “race” thing.

Hasselbeck has been a thorn in my side since she began at The View. Her opinions are supposed to be those of younger females and she leaves little to be desired. I think the younger generation is more willing to look at both sides of an issue and she never allows for a dissent from her view. I consider her opinions to be far right and quite out there. I think all people have to be able to debate there opinions but I only respect those who allow others on the opposite side share as well. It is always attacks and never allowing others to get out a complete train of thought that bugs me!

All of Elisabeth’s steam,smoke/dust…etc will most likely settle once the election is (finally) over. Let us all hope.
Amen.

This election is historical and everyone must vote and let you voices be heard……….however, regarding Elizabeth Hassleback, she will be joining the FOX NETWORK very soon and has been auditioning for the position since the start of the election. Mark my words, THE VIEW has been her platform for the interview process and regardless whether or not she may want to agree with some of the stuff the others say…….she knws what she is doing!!!!! Go Barac Obama!!!!!!

Obama doesn’t have to be a POW to have done something for his country. He has been a senator which is doing something for his country. He has also helped numerous citizens in this country while working in Chicago. Many of our congress have not served their country as John McCain has in the military. Being in the military does not automatically qualify your for running a country. Obama has given many people in our country HOPE which can to wonders in changing our society without hope there is nothing. That is part of the reason we have so many people feeling dejected in our society, lack of hope. When we have hope we have a better society.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be respected reguardless of who they choose to like policy, views, or ect. I just don’t like everytime Barack Obama name is mention Elisabeth Hasselbeck goes into attack mode. I think thats digusting and a turn off.

I stopped watching “The View” because it became boring and annoying. I started watching it again -SOMETIMES- ONLY b/c of Whoopi Goldberg. I stopped watching it again b/c I cannot stand Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She and Barbara Walters both need to go. Barbara is just dull as dishwater and Elizabeth can not express herself intelligently to save her life.

As for the election and all the mis-informed people who believe that a number of African-American celebs are backing Barack Obama solely on the basis of race: Diddy was doing “Vote or Die” four years ago when there were two WHITE candidates. African-American celebs have been encouraging African-Americans, who often feel disenfranchised and marginalized, to exercise their right to vote for YEARS. In every single previous election, the Democratic candidate has been white and African-Americans (as well as other races) have still voted and have still urged others to vote. It is complete and utter ignorance to suggest, and even moreso to actually believe, that the African-Americans that support Barack Obama do so only because of his race. They have always had to make a choice, why is this time seen any differently?

This show is nothing but a phony; they love Elizabeth on there; otherwise the other dumbos wouldn’t have a show!! It seems they need another conservative viewpoint on there to even it out!! Retire the old ones, Whoopi needs a new do, she’s living in the 60s.. and Joy Behar needs a new face!! She’s obnoxious!! A bunch of stupid women spewing their ignorance!! I don’t watch it anymore.. too many libs!!

I’ll say this one more time as before. Those women DON’T KNOW how to discuss politics!!! NO ONE! Neither Elisabeth, nor the rest of the ladies there! That show is a stupid disgrace to TV!!

Everyone’s saying to fire Elisabeth, but i think the entire show needs to be gone for good.

I used to watch Elisabeth discuss her views on the View and I thought of it as educational. For the past MONTH I have thought that she is a broken record. She DOES not hear other’s opinions and when OBAMA wins tonight…I surely hope that she apologizes to all of her cohosts!! IGNORANCE!! I can see it on all of their faces, they are sick of little miss priss!!
