ChaquitasMom, you made me laugh,(A little humor to break the tension)but you’re exactly right. His conceit and arrogance is used to cover up his inexperience and affiliations both. He acts as though it’s going to be a piece of cake to ‘turn this country around’, even though he has no experience on which to base the statement; he has an ‘explanation’ for every misdeed or lowlife that surrounds him. He intimidates anyone whom he feels will not show him in the best of light,he’s permitted to keep pertinent info secret, and he attacks any question that he doesn’t want to answer. He’s supposed to make us feel like we’re going to be safe, protected, and taken care of (provided we ALL do the work involved, of course), yet each time I hear something else about him, I get more concerned about the US if he wins. Even his demeanor has changed with his past few public appearances. Many, many people, esp. the media, are allowing him to run the show, minimizing, if even acknowledging, any bit of negative press (while skewering McCain and Palin about AGE and WARDROBE - I guess they can’t find anything else!). How can someone who doesn’t care to do their own research, EVER make a sane judgement, and vote him into the presidency?? The infuriating part, is that, there are those who choose to ignore ALL of this, and belittle it into something racial. That insults everyone’s intelligence, including his. Those insults, however, will pale in comparison to those that’ll be hurled at all hard-working people, as they watch the results of their motivation, sweat and toil get handed over to those who’s most active part of day is spent hanging out a street corner.

I voted for McCain.. he’s got experience, he’s qualified and he served his country. What did Obama do, organize and run for president for his years in the senate, who he stole out from underneath an associate of his who trusted him… also too many shady characters in his past. Why do they hang around him, or is it the other way around? He’s too cocky and arrogant and something doesn’t smell right there. I’m African-American and I’m not voting for the arrogant SOB.. He should get his ears pinned back……. he looks like a 55 Buick with its doors open!!!!!

John McCain has served his country and has put America first. He is without a doubt the most qualified person to be president and shame on US if he is not elected!

Actually Debbie its for households making over 42,000. There are additional increases for people making over 250,000. I do not make that much but why should I have to share what I earn with people who haven’t been motivated enough to do for themselves. First off, if people would actually think, they would realize that the people who make that money are actually your bosses. Gee, who’s going to ALSO suffer if your bosses get at least 60% garnished in taxes? Why would you raise taxes for ANYONE when we are in a recession? Not anyone smart!

A few questions for Debbie:

the 250,000 figure has dropped now by Obamas own party.. we were now at 120,000 last quote I heard from Biden?

How are the “republicans” RICH? When you consider the millions the Obama campaign have spent. And broken promises between Obama with McCain himself?? And the nearly trillion dollars in new spending that Obama has in store??

Arrogance is a matter of “opinion”.. and the arrogance I’m seeing right now is coming from Obama himself! Beyond confidence…?

What exactly IS an “illegal war”??

So we take 1/4 of our military budget away, when we are at war with terrorist that want nothing more than to destroy us?

Final point.. Barack may be Harvard, but with those education records SEALED, we don’t exactly know how “smart” he truly is— let alone any executive experience at all to be President?

Sarah has a much more impressive resume’ that Barack can remotely touch as to having been a “community organizer”??

Obama 2008!!!!!!
Yes you might have to pay a more fair share of taxes if you make over $250,000. I would be happy to share with those in need if I made that much money.
The rich republicans have duped the working class into thinking they represent them. In truth the wealthy manipulate the working class by making thing they are one of their fellow republicans. Well - you aren’t! And it ws republicans - Bush - Cheney - Rumfeld that started an illegal war and couldn’t finish the other one. It was the republicans who got rid of bank regulation and republicans who are responsible for the your 401k and savings that are tanking.
I was in Europe last week and they are disgusted with the the arrogance of America. We use the world like it is ours. It is NOT. We need to work with other countries not force our will on them with threats. We need that “extra” war monty to save our financial future and that of our children.
You really prefer Sarah - let’s shoot a moose- over a brilliant Harvard graduate?

I voted today,.. and I am registered as “no party” affiliation.

This means I make an informed decision, and will choose whom I feel is best suited for the job!

I didn’t have to get too far in homework to decide my choice for Commander In Chief!

It had no baring on race, however the name Barack Huessein Obama prompted me to immediately research his background. I found many negatives regarding Obama only by research, NOT AT ALL BY MEDIA? And even if only half of what I have learned is true, it’s completely alarming to me.

I reverted back to the basics for the job.. Experience.. Hands down John McCain a 26 year Senator tells me two things,.. the state of Arizona must trust and appreciate this man to have elected him a Senator for so very long. And secondly this man obviously knows something about government.

Barack is going on a 4 year term now as a Senator, and before that was a “community organizer”? I said to myself, what has Obama done for his country? Couldn’t find anything beyond what he has done for himself.

McCain was in the service for 22 years serving his country. A P.O.W. for 5 years.. I have no questions in regard to what he has done for his country, let alone his patriotism.

John McCain hates pork barrel spending.. this is tax payer money WE americans pay.. Mr. McCain has used the amount of ZERO DOLLARS in earmarks in his 26 year term. In just the last two years Mr. Obama has spent over 200 million dollars in earmarks!

I personally believe that if you want to be President of the United States, it should be a requirement to have had a Military background to at least somewhat understand what the term “Commander In Chief” truly means??

No contest… Media has shown whom they want for President, and the celebrities have made their selection quite clear. To this I ask,.. how is media and celebs looking out for this average americans best interest?

Experience, trust, know-how, and no questionable ties, or shady backgound associations, have lead me to the obvious choice.. John Sidney McCain for President.

I’d like to set something S-T-R-A-I-G-H-T: If you could actually see past his color, you’d realize that he’s NOT qualified. There are others - of ALL colors - much more qualified. People really need to get beyond this attribute, because it happens to have absolutely nothing to do with running the country, no matter how much you want to talk yourselves into it. We all know what happens when a book is judged by the cover, which, ironically, is something many of us do not like.

He’s barely qualified for the senate! Over half the time he’s been a senator he’s been campaigning for Presidency and has nothing on his resume that states any kind of change. I’m so sick of people talking about look how far we’ve come that a black man is running for president..what about the fact that a woman is on the ballot for VP? All men were allowed to vote 50 years before women were allowed! Look into the book he WROTE which states he stands by Muslims, look at the facts! Or his wife’s thesis that bashes white people, or his preacher who taught him so much who also hates white people.
