As I watched DWTS last night, I never thought I would see Brooke and Derrek (who I pick to win from week one) take a tumble into second place. Very disappionting to say the least.
I figured that it would be Lance and Lacey with the least amount of judges votes. That was before the judges gave them high scores. I am needless to say totally surprised by the way the judges scored Brooke and Derrek, and will have to wait and see if there will be any more total surprises tonight.
I always enjoy waching as Len helps, in part, the celebrities out as they rehearse with a few quick dance steps.

The judges need to stop being so controlling. The contestants are not professional dancers and the contestants should be judged accordingly. It is really nonsense when a judge says Brooke should be judged as a professional. Was she a professional dancer before coming on the show? If so, then yes, she should be judged as a professional. If not, then the judges need to take a cathartic and run around the block a few times to loosen up.

no doubt..by a mile…Brooke Burke should win it all…BUT it’s more of who has the best/most fan base that will make a winner…that’s how it is esp. now that all the “BAD EGGS IN THE BASKET” are gone…Good Luck to Brooke!!!

Truthfully, I think Brooke should win, but it’s a popularity contest. I also think they should change judges each season or at least one of them. I don’t think I can watch the same judges one more season.
