Barack's Mother-in-Law Headed to D.C.?

President-elect Barack Obama is prepping his wife, Michelle and two daughters for their move to the White House, but is his mother-in-law moving into the White House too?

That's true! The First Lady-elect has reportedly asked her mom, Marian Robinson, to help look after Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, when the family moves to Washington.

"I will do whatever Michelle needs simply because I know how important it is for her to see that the children ... still have discipline and still have things that children do at their disposal," Robinson told AP before the election.

I think it is awful, that people have such negative things to say about Obama, and the truth is because he is black. If he had been a different color with the name, nothing would be said. If he wants to move in a troop thats his say, so deal with it, because we have for hundreds of years now. Obama do your thang, because they have in the past but the public just doesn’t know that. I am proud, and not only did Obama win the election he killed the election because the race was no where close, so talk to the real people who put him in office. LOL…. who’s laughing now????

The one’s with the negative comments you are the real jokes. Why hire a nanny when the grand can do what she’s alway done. Keep in mine it more expensive to fly them to Chicago and back every day.

This is Great! Having the grandmother move in will assist in keeping the girls on track, and not getting out of control. I wouldnt dare have a outsider nanny take care of my kids. Grandparents are always the caregivers you can have in your home for your children!

Great, now the taxpayer’s are expected to support Michelle’s Mother?!!
She doesn’t live with now, why does she need to move in on the taxpayer’s dime?
If the Obama’s need a nanny they should “spread their wealth” and hire someone.
