All politicians lie in order to get elected. Democrat or Republican. And both claim to (mostly) adhere to the teachings of the bible. Hope Nancy Pelosi doesn’t make good on her threat to re-enact the so-called ‘Fairness Doctrine’. The reality is that the fairness doctrine was a form of censorship used against all talk show host’s who didn’t follow the liberal agenda. Of course this doctrine would never apply to the mostly liberal newspapers or the mostly liberal news programs. It will be interesting to see how many “Promises” Obama made will actually come to light. Oh I’m sure a few will but it is impossible for some of his promises to be put into action. Like giving 95% of the public a tax refund when only 65% of the public actually works. Of course the answer would be to give 30% of the public who doesn’t work the equivalent of a welfare check. Why are there so many lazy people in this country? My sister-in-law admits to going on welfare but she also told me that she couldn’t wait to get off it as a matter of pride. Something that fewer and fewer people in this country can honestly say they have. What a sad reflection on this country! Can you imagine the pioneers asking the government for a hand-out? The government would have probably laughed in their face. And of course no self-respecting man would ever shame his family by begging the government to do his job for him. And of course nowadays it would or should be “for him or her!”

If I’m not mistaking your current president is an alcoholic! Maybe those of you that are upset with the choice of the president need to get in touch with all of 38 million non minorities that helped put him in office. Get over yourself! Ignorance is one thing that will never go away with time.

Angel-You obviously have no clue how the government works. Anything that Bush tried to pass to try to make things better was stopped by the Democrat majority Congress. This was planned by them so that people like you with no real understanding of government would just blame Bush because he’s the president and oh he’s a Republican.

Now that we have a radical liberal with no clue because he hasn’t done anything of substance in his short political career as the president, we are all going to pay. Congress (again made up of primarily Dems) is already talking about taxing retirement funds on top of alll the other tax increases. They want to bail out all these failing companies too. Everyone who works hard is going to have to give their money to the lazy people of this country, who simply want to live off the government. An Obama supporter was taped expressing how happy she was that Obama won because now she didn’t have to worry about paying her mortgage or for gas or anything else. “Obama was going to take care of her”. What a joke. This country is on its way to becoming a socialist country and people like you don’t even see it.

Obama admitted to using cocaine. For that reason alone, he would never be allowed to be a police officer in this nation, but he can be the president? He can’t even supply his birth certificate. The basic eligibility for being the president is being born in this country, but he can’t even prove that because his birth certificate mysteriously disappeared. Someone in high school can’t get a job as a cashier without providing that document, but we’re going to let that slide for him? Sorry, that’s just wrong. Obama is going to screw this country up so badly and the next president will have to clean his disaster up.

While I have this open. Let me ask this. What about the religion the GOP likes to claim as their base. They are supposed strict Christian.
