How could John McCain pick someone to be his Vice-President who is obviously not competent enough to lead this country and the free world. It just shows how lacking his judgment is and it is an insult to the people who vote. The VP is a heartbeat away from becoming the President and therefore has to be someone whose qualifications are equal to the Presidential candidate. Sarah Palin doesn’t fit this picture by any stretch of the imagination. This scares me. I don’t think that John McCain is physically up to carrying out the President’s duties for the next four years. This will be highly stressful, physically wearing and emotionally draining. I fear that a man of 72 years old with age related physical problems cannot stand up to the rigors that will be required. Has everyone forgotten that the lat two years of Ronald Reagans Presidency he suffered from the onset of Alzheimers. It amazes me that this has not been addressed either by the media or those that ran against him in the primaries. People must think long and hand before they vote. This is truly the most important Presidential election in over 60 years. God help us if McCain is elected and we have to live with Republican policies for at least another four years. Remember, all great empires were destroyed from within.
