VOTE: Palin's Pricey Wardrobe

It's reported that the Republicans shelled out a whopping $150,000 to give Sarah Palin a new wardrobe. The GOP defended the spending, saying that after the campaign, the clothing would be given to charity.

Every woman wants a closet makeover, but is $150K too much?

There was a question the other night, which Palin fasion do you like best? My answer is if we all had someone else footing the bill for our wardrobe, we all would look spectacular. She didn’t have to look as frumpy as she did in Alaska, it’s a matter of taste and style. You can get inexpensive good looking clothes.

Sorry but what’s good for one is good for the other!
Michell O. looks like a big, bowlegged clutz. Have you seen her walk? Clomp, clomp, clomp. Big clutzy steps, not lady like at all. Maybe her and Dumbo ears will fly away after the election, to a county thay will be proud off. How does that feel Dumbocrats? Sounds pretty shallow doesn’t it? Not normally me but enough is enough! GET A LIFE!

“clothes make the man” this babe looks great in anything! yes, she needs the 150k—-i would pay a million on her. McCains wife can really dress to the tees with all her dough. this is chump change at 150K. If i had the money, flaunt it, you only go around once, happy for her, she is a knockout!!

How typical of republicans to not know the value of a dollar and squander everyone else’s money. Michele Obama wears a $100 dress and looks fine. Why do the republicans think they need designer duds, especially when our economy is going down the tubes? What is this? Charity to the poor designers who are gettin’ no business because the middle class has been driven into the poor house and they can’t afford to live above their means anymore?

How typical of the Dems and libs to nitpick Palin’s wardrobe, how much it cost and where she bought her clothes…. typical of libs who only care what everyone is wearing and how much it cost… She’s a government official who has to look her best to keep up with the others..Why is it so one sided; how much does Obama spend on his suits, how much does Biden spend on his hair plugs and do they pay for it out of their own pockets? How about Michele Obama; I for one know she gets her suits designed by a local Chicago designer!! Come on off the rack, my foot!! Fair is fair. Stop picking on the small stuff, lets worry about our economy, state of the union and how to get those socialists out of our government!!

I think the money would have been better spent on speech lessons and maybe one of those schools for young ladies to teach them how to behave in public!

This country is so critical. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Governor Palin being upgraded to the style of clothing this nation expects to see on a potential Vice-President.

Besides if the ignorant in this country get their way, Obama will be in and when that socialist gets done with this country those that insisted on voting for him will have a lot more to worry about than Palin’s clothing.

I pray earnestly that our Lord and Savior has a hand in determining this election.

No worries on this one - Michelle is an off the rack woman shopping at Black House White Market to be exact (as the View helped point out) even with her own personal accomplished career she chooses not and haven’t changed while campaigning. Not a 75K, in 30 days, Neiman Marcus etc. type of person. Sounds like Palin is riding this ticket for all its worth. Interesting for someone who focuses on trimming the fat. p.s. I thought those were extension in her hair.

It seems strange to me, after watching all 3 major evening news and then this show, that not one went after Obama and wife. I’m sure that their wardrobe costs as much if not more (sure they’re not shopping at church rummage sales as I have to do being disabled).

I saw the major news outlets formost go after Palin, then Hillary, then McCain, and then Edwards expensive hair cut. There was absolutely no reference to Obama and wifes clothing or personal expensed.

Either the media is being biased or Obama is hiding this expense as he’s hiding his real birthplace (Kenya)

First of all the safety of our Country should come first. Macain can make that happen.
Obama chances his mind more that the weather changes. His campaine platform changes everytime Macain comes up with a positive action. Now Obama has nothing better to do than bash Mcain.
Congratulations Macain and Palin you are what America needs, honest and moral!!

But is is okay that Michelle Obama spent about $300,000 when her husband started campaigning for the presidency. It is ok that they ordered lobster, caviar, champagne, etc at the Waldorf Astoria at 4pm because they wanted a snack! Some snack. I am sure that cost a nice sum and I would be that anything left over was not donated to the homeless, etc. The Obama’s can really spend the $$$$. The media needs to be fair. But then it seems like the media is biased..they are Democrats and whatever Obama does is ok. Gee, people, you act like Obama is God or next to God. Newsflash..he is NOT God, not a rockstar, etc. What he IS..a smooth talker and a big spender!!!!!

Let’s say she needed clothes because of her new role…fine, it’s understandable… she did not have to go to Neiman’s to get the clothes and spend that much! She should take into consideration that supporters donated the money in good faith, not for her to get such an expensive makeover. This also shows the type of person she is when it comes to money… she should have thought about who paid for it and the main purpose of the money … yes it’s all about looks now, but you have to remember that this are hard Economic times and for someone who is running for VP and say she wants to make a Make a Change should have used better judgment…should we believe her when it comes to spending policies? We will be broke!!! She needs to remember she is applying for a job to work for the people not for Hollywood.
