VOTE: Did Palin's 'SNL' Spoof Help or Hurt the GOP?

Sarah Palin turned the tables on Tina Fey in her "Saturday Night Live" spoof, in which the Alaska governor mentions a "30 Rock" skit that she's written to portray Fey in -- and pokes fun at herself with Alec Baldwin, who called her "that horrible woman" and "Caribou Barbie."

Tell "Extra" -- did Palin's "SNL" appearance help the GOP camp -- or hurt their chances in November?

She didn’t really say or do anything during both skits. Out of the whole 6 minutes on air she said about 3 lines? She just stood there and let the other comedians to the work. She was not funny at all. What was funny was when she was dancing along to the rap that was totally degrading and poking fun of her. I would have liked to see her doing something side by side with Tina Fey.

To me this makes me think she is not ready to be president because she is to busy making a joke out of herself.

BUT don’t get me wrong I am very afraid Obama because he just seems to calm and not to mention his middle name is Hussein.

To me I would rather keep Bush and I don’t really like him.

But really I would have to say McCain because I just DON’T TRUST OBAMA. But if I was you I would not vote for any of them.

NOTE: Don’t let my comment change your mine about who to vote for. YOU VOTE for the PERSON YOU THINK will be the BEST.

Of COURSE McCain and Palin have better senses of humor. They really don’t have much to hide, so they can relax and be themselves. Barack Hussein cannot afford to have one unscripted moment - he might betray an emotion, or much worse. When you lie, omit or evade the truth,You have to have a really good memory, and always be on your guard. He keeps everyone at bay, unless he’s totally certain of what will be asked, or presented, and gets quite defensive if anyone dares to cross that line. He’s going to need a much thicker skin if he wants to lead THIS country. Cause, let me tell you, the first refusal to pledge allegiance as pres., will be some big headlines.

I think they should offer a course on the election before some of these people should get to vote. I saw a guy the other day promoting Obama who couldn’t half speak. Please, this is horrible. Obama can’t even make his mind up on the issues. Two thumbs and two toes up for Palin. Good sport! Learn something from that Biden and be careful not to bust a blood vessel when you’re speaking to people you could careless about.

It isn’t about how funny or what the race of someone is it is about who each AMERICAN person wants. So the question is do you want someone that is friends with a terriost or just am old man?

Why is it anyone whom doesn’t want Barack Huesein Obama as President of The United States is racist? Sounds like a cop out to me. So exactly what is the title given black people whom won’t vote for John McCain? Obamas Lamas? lol..

“I think this proves - once again - that Mccain and Palin are better sports and are a whole lot funnier then Obama and Biden! lol…”

Amy, i think you missed the show. Palin said almost NOTHING in the sketch. Just a couple of sentences and moved her arms up and down to look “cool” and the Live from NY phrase and that was it!

She let others do the whole thing for her. It was ridiculous.

Oh, and being on SNL doesn’t get anyone in the White House, so keep laughing.

There should be a third option which is neither. It just convinced me more that she’s just a pure joke.

Hey, Hey for Sarah!! She did a good job; she did way better than B.O. did on that roast the other night in New York; he was stiffer than a board.. Hey, McCain did a better job than B.O. Looks to me like B.O. has no sense of humor.. Not even Michelle showed up for the roast that night, possibly because she couldn’t take the lame stuff B.O had to say out there… I saw the bishop wince everytime B.O. put out a joke there!! He needs better writers.. Good job Sarah!!

There is definitely a lot of racist, uneducated and ignorant people talking and posting their comments. The way they talk speaks for it-self.

Hi all,
Small note!!!
I have noticed, that some of you do not mind your grammer nor your spelling. How come??? Its a 21 century, mind how you are writing. I am a foreigner, and I have studied English , I can make mistakes, and I can be forgiven, but you, its your native language!!!!

Take care.
