I think THE VIEW WOMEN should be ashamed of themselves the way they create controversy on Sarah Palin they may not agree with everything she stands for but as women we should respect each other !! I no longer respect Ms Walters knowing what she went through during her younger years as a woman trying to gain respect from the male industry and now we have a woman on a presidential ticket and all she can do is find fault SHAME ON YOU Ms Walters! Joy Behar is just plain ignorant everytime she opens her mouth she makes a fool out of herself. Elisabeth is only in her early thirties and has to deal with these women much older than her and should be more experienced than her and still don’t know how to conduct themselves on national television but they’re quick to talk about others inexperiences. Elisabeth only gives credit to the fact that these women should have stuck to COMEDY ITS WHAT THEY DO BEST as for Sarah Palins clothes I guess you’d have wanted her to show up in KMART clothes so you could talk about how she doesn’t even know how to dress. SHAME ON THE WOMEN OF THE VIEW complete ignorance do they really know what THE VIEW stands for ?

Speaking of “the View”… (the slanted abc, nbc, and cbs VIEW)..

What about the PEOPLES VIEW?? We hear and see a whole lot about what the “POLLS” are saying. Who’s ahead, what ground needs made up, etc? I have yet to see actual PEOPLE, actual AMERICAN WORKING people on tv talking about what they want their government to do?? At the very least John McCain likes to have a “town meeting” format, and with that gets real americans on the microphone to talk about how they feel, what bothers them about government, etc.

Why are networks showing us NUMBERS and NOT people?? And how do you obtain such numbers when not everyone has voted yet? November 4th is election day.. why say someone is “winning” when the race isn’t over til the votes are counted!?

I don’t watch the view, ..but the snipets I see on these “tabloid” shows irritate the same way that every celebrity is out-spoken about their choice for President. The answer is usually for Obama, the only question these people are not answering is.. Why?

I want REAL people on tv and their opinions… and NOT just the Obama Lamas.. ALL people.

I love the view! This show is where i get most of the my dose of whats going on in the world and i applaud all the ladies for their individuality and them speaking their minds. No matter if i agree or not, this is what americas all about. Freedom of speech and i like to hear both sides of peoples opinions to make up my own. But i guess thats what you call an open-minded person.

I would like to turn on the view one time and not hear about this upcoming election, I am a registered republican, and I am sick of Elizabeth pushing the party down everyone throat, does she relize that it is hurting the party more then helping, as Now I feel that neither party should be in office I think I will vote independent this time around

I don’t like the View anymore and won’t watch it until a couple months after the election. I just can’t stand all the talking over each other and interrupting. It’s just too hard to hear what they’re “trying” to say. Not to mention I think it’s time for Barbara Walters to retire. Her stammering and stuttering drives me nuts!

Elizabeth stands her ground and I like her. She needs to stay for the ratings and I enjoy watching it because of her being on. I don’t know if she’s happy there though. I wouldn’t be. I would just show up to _iss the panel off.

Good for you Elizabeth! I am registered independent but usually vote conservative. I and everyone I know are incredibly sick of liberal hollywood. It is refreshing to have someone stand up for the conservatives. The View needs to get some balance and stop having all the liberal hosts gang up on the one intelligent conservative in the group. I am so sick of loud mouth, sarcastic Behar and all the other liberals on the show attacking Elizabeth. I’m done watching the show. I was thrilled when you got rid of Rosie but you still have Joy Behar and Whoopie so I can’t watch!

I no longer watch the “View” because of all the screaming over each other every one of the actresses engage in. If I wanted to see a screaming match I would go visit my dysfunctional family.

I am so sick of that ultra-conservative Elisabeth, she is the main reason I no longer watch “The View” when I have a day off work. She needs to go over to the Fox News Channel, where she would be right at home. She makes the show unbearable to watch anymore.

Elizabeth is well informed and an intelligent woman who DOES NOT get a fair share to explain her view. Whoopi, Joy , Barbara and Sherri are so slanted. Joy is unbearable. Whoopi is so slantedand definitely does not demonstrate equality. Shame on Babrbara Walters and her treatment of Elizabeth and certainly she has become jaded. I refuse to watch tis show which had so much class when Merdith and Star were on the show….now it has turned into a bully circus….foget the comment in the article that says it’s like girlfriends at the dining table…this has turned into a bunch of obnoxious women Whoopi, Joy, Barbara and Sherri….Let’s put some class back into the view.

Everyone on the view talks over Elizabeth. She is amazing that she can hang in there with Joy and Whoppi, who think they are the only ones with a correct opinion, or the only opinion that counts. I am tired of them and sick of Barbara holding her hand up whenever Elizabeth talks. Those 3 need a life.

I personally think it is refreshing to see a show where NO ONE is afraid to speak their mind. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. I love watching the show for the simple fact that they do not all agree. It allows us the viewers to see all the sides and form their own opinion. Why would you want to watch a show that would be one sided and not show all the views. Granted their debates can get a little overheated, but hey who hasn’t gotten heated about something they are passionate about. Keep it up ladies. I love watching.
