Ron Howard's Flashback Politics

Director Ron Howard spent years shying away from the limelight and establishing himself off-camera. Now the Oscar-winning director takes us back to the simple life with "Andy Griffith" and "Happy Days" as he reprises the classic roles of Opie Taylor and Richie Cunningham in a campaign plug for Barack Obama. Check out the video for his flashback politics!

Ron Howard, please keep your politics to yourself. I DON’T CARE WHO YOU SUPPORT.

Always thought Ron Howard was a great guy, I was sorry to have learned he’s a idiot.

I really wish celebrities would stop pushing their political beliefs on us. Please just entertain. It is such a turn off. Even though I though Rons skit was cute, it would have been better without the politicl overtones

I agree with you both …actors, actresses, directors, producers we do not want your political viewpoint or support of which candidate of your choice….And journalism does NOT exist in this election I have never seen such bias media. A true jounalist, and media organization should stick to the fact and NOT cover up all the facts….they have made Obama into a rock star.. I want factual reporting regardless of party affliation with equality.

allensbikerbabe, how right you are. So many brainwashed people are out there and here are more celebrities who cannot keep their opininons to themselves. Stardom and fame does not give anyone the right to use that status to try to sway people. If you feel so strongly about a candidate, instead of PUBLICLY spouting off about them, do what the “common people” do..go work at one of their campaign offices or make phone calls or mail out flyers. I used to like Ron Howard and Henry Winkler…what a disappointment they are to me.
