Built in 1909, The Magic Castle is a converted Victorian mansion that became a private club for magicians in 1963. You can only get into this plush club by being a member, or guest of a member -- and you better be well-coiffed! The Castle enforces a strict dress code -- women must be in an elegant dress or matching pantsuit; men must be in coat, tie and dress shoes.

They watched award-winning magician Johnny Ace Palmer perform in the Close-Up Gallery theater, one of the club's three showrooms that host five rotating magic shows.
