Politically Incorrect Spending

The gap between Dems and Repubs is closing in spite of the news of Palin's $150,000 GOP makeover. An AP poll on Wednesday suggests Obama and McCain may be separated by just 1%, while other polls suggest that Obama is way out in front.

New reports were revealed today on how the Dems have also frivolously frittered away cash. More than $400,000 was spent on working lunches and dinners, close to $4 million on parties and another $500,000 on unknown expenses, all while spending less than $27,000 on charitable donations.

The current state of the economy has Americans keeping an eye their spending, but the candidates somehow missed the memo!

Yeah, wanda, Bush stole the election - TWICE!! Grasp at straws much? Maybe you’re thinking of the ACORN story. I guess then, obama is like a pen without any ink. Try putting THAT in a pencil sharpener.Still useless. At least with a pencil, it’ll still work.

wake-up america. do you really believe that the republic party has change or will change. bush and his co-horts stole the election last time and now he has stolen our money. electing mccain is the same as a broken pencil tip just put it a pencil sharpener and keep using it until it breaks in half and take a piece of tape fix it until the eraser is the only thing left. oops there it is.

I think it’s the other way around McCain
just wants to be President and he said so. He said he would do anything to win.
McCains volunteer made up robbery story
and put it on a black man. But God is in
control.

Obama must think he is God, delaying the World Series for a stupid half hour spot so the country can hear more smooth talk from this elitist socialist.
He has outspent everyone and this person is saying he is going to help the middle class? Please, give me a break. His motto is spend, spend, spend and he had the nerve to talk about white men’s greed in one of his books. Look who is greedy now..one bi-racial elitist socialist who does not have the best interest in this country at heart. He just wants the title of President and that is all.

Obviously alot of you missed the memo about Sarah Palin’s clothing…it was purchased by the Republican Party, and will be auctioned off for charity after the election. They are not her personal property. How much do you think Obama’s 30 minute TV spot before the World Series will cost? I bet you could buy alot of groceries with that tidy sum. At least Sarah Palin will be giving back to charity, Obama will have nothing to show for his spent dollars….

Obviously alot of you missed the memo that Sarah Palin’s clothing that was purchased by the Republican Party isn’t her personal property, it will be auctioned off for charity after the election…..It would behoove folks to learn the facts before they make a stupid comment about something that they haven’t researched. The Democratic party has spent tenfold more than their opponents…do you realize how much Obama’s 30 minute TV spot before the World Series is going to cost? Price that and then you can criticize….Bet you all could use that money to by quite a bit of groceries……..

Palin had to go back to court today for
abuse of power while in office. She’s not qualified.

IF BOB WINS, IT WILL BE AN ELECTION
BOUGHT WITH MONEY AND THE SLIMMY POLITICIANS OF MY CITY, CHICAGO. OB HAS TO PAY 2MILLION TO THE CITY TO HAVE HIS BLOWOUT ELECTION NIGHT PARTY. AND TO BE ABLE TOBUY 30 MINS OF TIME ON ALL NETWORKS THE LAST WEEK IS THE MOST DISGUSTING THING IN MY 72 YEARS. THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN FOR THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE FOR HIM TO LOOSE, SO MAYBE THE NEXT ELECTION WOULD NOT BE ABOUT WHO CAN SPEND THE MOST MONEY.

Why did he not get the money from his personal account oh his wife’s account to doll up the shrew. It is very sad that he thinks the clothes makes the woman. The woman suppose to make the clothes. Guess if he is elected he will take the tax payers money to purchase her mansion by the lake.

Now I read that Obama is going to charge the media to be attend the election night coverage & speech. $995 for them to have a heated tent, cable, food. For those in the media who do not want to spend that much, he will charge over $800 for a spot to cover the results. Even the press said that they have never heard of any candidate doing something like that (meaning it was outrageous). The media was not happy about that at all. Goes to show us and them what Obama is REALLY all about. Maybe NOW the media will wise up but I won’t be holding my breath.

The money talk is another distraction, and ploy tactic of Barack Huesein Obama. Wasn’t it a week ago he was boasting about the 150 million he received for his campaign after the endorsement from Powell? What better way to take peoples minds off THAT money than to “buy off” the tv networks and tabloid shows by pointing out the spending habits of Gov. Palin??

This is another attempt to keep any possible “negative” attention on the McCain campaign, and keep even MORE secrets on the side of Obama!

Election day is just over a week away and I am still wondering “WHO IS BARACK HUESEIN OBAMA”?? His HISTORY matters to me, his EXPERIENCE matters to me! We see what “celebrity” status you have taken on ..after all money will always find money… (celebrity endorsements, bias network time) how is this any idication that you even know whom the middle class is?? Oh, that’s right, middle class to Obama is $250,000?…

Obama,.. broken promises (to McCain himself).. lies, distrust, deceitful, …don’t for a moment believe that the ISSUES are ALL about the economy! Some of us actually WANT to know Who you are? It takes more than a great speech writer to make someone president.

I say go for it Sara; you need to look your best after all you could be our next VP and we sure don’t need to have one walking around in spandex! Nice to see a woman in politics that is not in a suit. Laura needs to take fashion lessons from you.

So let me get this right, it is wrong to spend $150,000 on clothes if you are a republican, but you can spend $400,000 on meals for “working dinners” and $4,000,000 on parties if you are a democrat? Most of “Hollywood” wears $150,000 or more in one night at an awards show.

I am from Arizona originally and all I can say is that as long as people like McCain are in charge I would NEVER moved back. There are at least 35 prisons in AZ because he never did anything about the ilegals except build prisons to put them in..WTF?? He should have done time himself for the Keating scandal for bilking tons of thousands of seniors out of thier retirement savings but the judge felt sorry for him because he was a POW!!! H is wishy washy and jumps on any popular bandwagon and he LOVES Bush-dont let him fool you! AND PLS DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE PALIN CHICK!!!

IT’S UNBELIEVABLE HOW THE MEDIA TREATS REPUBLICANS. EVEN IN THE PHOTOS THAT ARE SELECTED FOR ARTICLES, SUCH AS THE ONE ABOVE. AS JOURNALISTS YOU SHOULD BE GIVING THE FACTS, BOTH SIDES OF THE FACTS NOT ONLY THE OWNS THAT FULFILL YOUR PERSONAL POLITICAL AGENDA.

It is so terrible, let alone unfair how the media is so biased on the side of Obama. As I read in another comment, it’s no wonder, with all the $$ spent there.
Now we know why the media doesn’t question anything negative that Obama has done - people need to wake up. We do not need more useless - wasted overspending. It is so frightening because our country will only get worse with more big spending….

We do not need someone who can talk about nothing and fool his way through to the presidency. Don’t look at it as a Democrat vs. a Republican - look at the individuals and their records.

Why did it take running for the presidency for Obama to break ties with his long-time pastor and other unfavorables???

We need to pray that only the right person, the person who will try to help his fellow Americans, becomes our new president -

It was reported on the news McCains has
spent millions on Palin and her family,
using her to do his dirty work. That is
why she was in trouble in Alaska abuse
of power while in office and still in
trouble it’s not over.

No wonder the media is so slanted towards Obama….he is their biggest advertiser, bought many meals and airplane rides. $150,000.00 thus far is unaccounted for out his $400,000.00 he has spent on meals wardrobes and media….Hmmmmmmm. This treatment of Palin isvery UnAmerican and quite tiring. How come the media hasn’t asked grilling questions about Acorn, Mr. Ayers and Mr Resko? They are too busy trying to trash Sarah Palin.
What happened to the old adage experience is the best teacher.
