Hasselbeck's Life Threatened?

1029hasselbeck.jpg

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is the outspoken conservative among the hostesses of "The View" -- but are her views garnering death threats for the former "Survivor"?!

That's false! Page Six reported that Whoopi Goldberg said that her Republican colleague gets more death threats than anyone else on the show -- but a rep for ABC tells "Extra," "Whoopi was completely misquoted. She never said that."

SWEET PEA: Forget about your need to see not THREE, not FOUR, but ALL liberals on yet another network. (sounds like obama already, just wanted those around who agree w/ him)) We’re more pis$ed that b.o. spent $400,000!!!!!!! to go to Hawaii, and no one bats an eye (he couldn’t donate his ticket to charity when he was done w/ it, right???). We’re pis$ed that b.o. pretends not to know what goes on with all the angry black men around him, and people buy this, and look the other way, no matter what.
we’re pis$ed that he gets to call the shots as to who interviews him, when they do, and what they ask him (only someone afraid they’ll display their inadequacies does this), and gets away w/ it - Democrats whine for that type of preferential treatment - like an Hollywood celeb. We’re pis$ed because he STILL won’t turn over vital records that all politicians have to turn over, yet it’s ok to spend money to spy on Palin or even JOE the PLUMBER!! (he’s running for what?)Who’d want a president who, besides lurking around w/ lowlifes, then sells them down the riverwhen questioned, pretends not to know what’s going on around him, makes excuses for his every faux pas, and tells you point blank that all your hopes of success through motivation and incentive will be gone if he’s pres. - that has to be shared with those who do nothing! If he had one ounce of the class that some fools actually believe he has, he’d drop out, knowing how many fraudulent votes, donations, and ‘accomplishments’ are such a part of his campaign, and would DEFINITELY be a big part of his presidency - don’t be fooled - please don’t vote for him because you think there should be a different type of president. There HAS to be more to it than his ‘first’ aspect;there are other things to consider that I don’t feel perople are taking seriously, and they’re going to wish they’d chosen differently afterwards. His own family says they’ll answer no more questions til Nov. 5! I don’t think his illegal alien aunt said that - oh, wait!! HE SAID HE DIDN’T KNOW HIS AUNT WAS HERE ILLEGALLYY!!! How the hell does he have the audacity to tell us he’s going to change the country, when he doesn’t even know what goes on in his own circle??????????

I like Elizabeth. She is great. I do not blame her for trying to save America. Look, Oboma is not the right one to be president right now. He wants to attack Packistan if they do not do what he wants. They have nukes that can reach the United States. And yes if he ticks them off America will get a change all right. In the form of a mushroom cloud over cent com in Florida. I do not want that. And she is right to ask about his relationship with bill ayers. I was always taught that you show me who your friends are and I will show you what you are. Oboma has been caught in lies and linked with some questiionable people and everyone is just going to ignore it because they like his smile and like his words. He reminds me of a highschool boy telling his prom date whatever she wants to hear just to get in her pants and if he is elected America is going to get Scr—ed for sure. Everyone blames the President and says McCain will be just like him well its the Democrats that sabotaged the last two years of his presidency to make it look bad. They knew what was coming and did nothing to help stop it. They were not looking out for America but for their own politacal agenda. Little Elizabeth sees things for what they are and is trying to sound the alarm and if people do not listen to her they will find out the hard way how a country can be brought down from within. If Oboma is elected we will have our first Muslum, socialist president and if he thinks he can talk to the Iran guy because of his muslum roots it won’t work and we will have a third world war on our hands and for the first time America will have war planes bombing her cities and towns. Unless we surrender and all become members of Islam. And if you do not think his plan for America is shaped after the Islamic way of doing things why don’t you read up on it. Ask yourself this, why would a former terrorist want to help groom Oboma for President. and then ask yourself this, why did he attend Rev. Wrights church for all those years knowing he was racist and if you read the books Oboma wrote he makes racist remarks in them. and he is not a black man. He is both black and white equally. ok. I need to stop. Be nice to Elizabeth. She loves America and does not wnat to see it come to destruction and is only trying to save it.

“struggles that people of color have”??

Is this a sympathy vote for Obama?? It’s not working.. white people should never ever be forced into being ashamed of being white! Let alone vote a presidential ticket in “attempts to make things all better”?

It’s about the issues of this country, and while there are racial issues, I’m sick and tired of the “blacks are not being treated fairly” soap box!

There would simply be an uprising if there was a WET (white entertainment television there is BET).. an ONLY WHITES award show… (image awards, escense awards etc). We don’t have a national government holiday for veterans, or even Abe Lincoln, or George Washington, but we do have Martin Luther King day! There are no guarantees for a white person to obtain a job even if he is more qualified (affirmative action)… February is black history month,.. when is white history month? It’s common knowledge that the highest percentage of crimes committed in this country are those crimes including the black race.. what is completely over-looked is that most of those crimes are committed by blacks themselves!

I know you’ll wanna call me a “racist”.. and that would be the quickest way to dismiss an arguement, by grabbing that old crutch to lean on.

But, truly, I am all about EQUALITY and FAIRNESS. Black, white, yellow, orange, green,.. I don’t care what color you are we are the HUMAN RACE! For those races that want things seperate, special, more acknowledged— how is this equal and fair?

I am American… Why does one need a title IN FRONT of that title.. “African-American”. Either you’re with us as a whole, or your African first?

If everyone would stop separating the races, and dividing them as people did 100 years ago, then we could actually move forward.

I think that she has a lot to learn about the world that we live in. She lacks an understanding of the struggles that people of color have been having to put up with for so long. I think that she needs to become a better listener and not just spout off her opinions. I don’t think that threats of any sort are conducive to developing a conscience for those around her who have had to face discrimination. I think any good debater must be willing to look at both sides of an issue and make informed choices. I don’t stick to one opinion just because it is the one from my side or affiliation I do what is right.

Elizabeth is an idiot. She is like a horse with blinders on. She only sees black and white, there is no gray area to her.

I have been voting for 39 years, always as a Republican. But not this time. Our country is going to hell in a hand-basket because of 8 years of Bush, and you can expect worse from McCain.

And if the poor guy dies, that means we will be left with an idiot for a President.

Wake up Elizabeth. What would you have done if the Democrates spent $150,000.00 on clothes for their Vice President Nominee. You would blow a gasket.

I agree, no one should receive death threats. Elizabeth is totally an idiot. She is insensitive and a know-it-all! I am surprised she is still on The View.

Rachel, Why are you so hateful & mean??? EH is NOT an idiot. Please, be fair. You may not agree with some of the things she says, but clearly, you have issues. Not everything she says it wrong. That is a total exaggeration on your part.

No one should get death threats bc its not that serious. Elizabeth Hasselbeck is just NAIVE and gets all her info from Sean Hannity. Everytime she talks I go to fact check and she’s wrong 97% of the time and whoever agrees with her gets their info from the old angry WHITE MEN from FOX NEWS. GO OBAMA

Elisabeth is the best thing on the view. With all the liberal media out there it is nice to see someone has a voice for the conservatives. God help America if Obama is elected president.

If you can read, you can see that in my first sentence I say I don’t think anyone should get death threats. It’s in the subordinate clause of the first sentence.

What I am saying is that there are a number of smart Republican women out there who don’t argue like three year-olds and don’t look like young pruny Donatella Versaces. I don’t like EH is a bad person, she’s just not smart. Michelle Malkin would do a better job.

So what your saying Rachel, is it is okay to make death threats against someone because he/she may be annoying?

She gets death threats for not wanting to vote for this man. Sorry for the length, but worth the read.

Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative… Refuse to Release the Video!

Introduction: The LA Times is holding a video that shows Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gives a toast to a former PLO operative at this celebration. If the American public saw this side of Barack Obama he would never be elected president.
But, the media refuses to release this video.

LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obama’s close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.
Wallsten discussed a dinner held back in 2003 in honor of Khalidi, a critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights.
Barack Obama has denied his close association with Khalidi, too.

According to Wallsten the evening not surprisingly turned into a classic Jew-bash:

“During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, “then you will never see a day of peace.”

One speaker likened “Zionist settlers on the West Bank” to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been “blinded by ideology.”
Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event.
And, Obama confessed that his family often shared dinner with the Khalidis:

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases… It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”

…The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.
Khalidi and the Obamas were great friends in Chicago and often shared meals together.
By the way, Khalidi was also best friends with Bill Ayers.

Terrorist Bill Ayers—- Barack Obama—- Jew-hater Rashid Khalidi

On Wednesday I talked with Peter Wallsten from the Los Angeles Times about the article on Obama and Khalidi:

Wallston was one of the few mainstream media reporters to report on this radical Obama associate.

Wallston said that the article was written after he watched video taken at the Khalidi going away party. When I asked him about the video he said that as far as he was concerned he was through with the story.

I asked him if he was planning on releasing this video of Obama toasting the radical Khalidi at this Jew-bash. He told me he was not releasing the video. He also would not comment on his source for the video. Wallston also said he did not know if Khalidi’s good friend Bill Ayers was at the event or not.
So, there you have it.
The LA Times has video of Obama toasting a former PLO operative at a Jew-bash but will not release the video.
This is outrageous.
Obviously, this video would do great damage to Obama who struggles with Jewish voters due to his circle of close anti-Semitic friends.
Maybe this is the reason it is not being released?

More on Khalidi—-
Not only does Barack Obama’s church of 20 years support Hamas and Hezbollah but Barack Obama also has a longtime close friendship and financial association with suspected former PLO operative and Israel hater Rashid Khalidi.
Earlier this month Sean Hannity dared to report on Barack and Michelle Obama’s radical associate and friend, Rashid Khalidi:

Barack Obama funnelled thousands of dollars of cash to Rashidi’s anti-Israel Foundation through his work on the Woods Fund.

In 2000, Rashid Khalidi, a former PLO operative who justified Palestinian terrorism as contributing to “political enlightenment,” threw a fundraiser for his friend Barack Obama.

Although he is described as a former PLO operative, via Free Republic, this is what Rashid Khalidi has to say about Palestinian terrorism against Jews— he said anti-Israel violence contributed to “political enlightenment”:

On Palestinian violence. Khalidi glorifies anti-Israel violence as contributing to “political enlightenment”[vii] and unsurprisingly admires those who carry it out. His loyalty to Palestinian terrorist groups run so deep that he actually dedicated his 1986 valentine to the PLO, Under Siege, to “those who gave their lives … in defense of the cause of Palestine and independence of Lebanon.”[viii] The book whitewashes PLO violence against Israelis and Lebanese, as well as the Syrian occupation.
Khalidi and Ayers were practically best friends.
And, both Ayers and Obama signed the commemorative book given to Khalidi at his going away party:

In Chicago, the Khalidis founded the Arab American Action Network, and Mona Khalidi served as its president. A big farewell dinner was held in their honor by AAAN with a commemorative book filled with testimonials from their friends and political allies. These included the left wing anti-war group Not In My Name, the Electronic Intifada, and the ex-Weatherman domestic terrorists Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers. (There were also testimonials from then-state Senator Barack Obama and the mayor of Chicago.)
It’s hard to imagine that the LA Times would hold onto a video of Sarah Palin praising an anti-Semitic radical and former PLO operative…
But, that is today’s mainstream media.

Tom Maguire has more on this radical friend of Barack and Michelle Obama.

No one deserves to get death threats, but EH is truly an idiot. She spews hateful unchecked “facts” that she gets from Sean Klannity. She has never ever uttered an original throught with regard to politics. It’s not that she’s a Republican - there certainly should be a Republican on the view - it’s that she’s a shrill whiny idiot whose only credential is that she LOST a reality program. People don’t dislike her because of her political views, but rather because she’s a disgrace to womankind. The other hostesses actually had other talents that they bring to the program. What does she bring? It’s time for a smart, intelligent woman ( I can think of a few republicans that fit this mold) to replace this bleached out jerk.

Our country is in a sad state when a person who discusses her views on the right candidate for the job…. McCain.

Just look what we get with the other option (Obama)

Other Obama Ties to Hamas Fund-Raiser Revealed by LGF

McCain Campaign Calling LA Times to Release Video
An Eyebrow-raising Guest List

DBKP reported earlier today that Doug Ross received a pair of quotes from a source who had seen the video the LA Times is holding, “Obama-Khalidi Tape: Blogger Obtains Quotes from Hidden Video UPDATED“.

Ross’ story “RED ALERT tip: Two Quotes from the Obama-Khalidi Videotape“, cites a source “from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., “All six of CNN’s ‘undecided voters’ were Democratic operatives“). Take it for what it’s worth, but I believe this person is on target.

The two quotes offered by Ross’ source are certainly reason enough that the LA Times would want to suppress the video. Obama is supposedly congratulating the

“Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine.”

and

“there’s been “genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis.”

The source said that Obama used the quotes to “rile the audience (largely pro-Palestinian) up”.

She HAS to be strong. Look what she’s up against. The stupid show has no fair middle ground - it’s 3 or 4 liberals and one conservative. No one can dispute the unbalanced format; it should be even on both sides, but that’s a big fear in the networks. That is exactly why every news channel is basically liberal; the fear of another viewpoint is something their infantile mentalities cannot handle.

more interesting facts from the Thursday Raw post on this site. In case anyone wants to add to their research to ensure they vote smartly.
*****************
To all & especially anon & Laverne… Obama spent 3.5 MIL TO ANNOUNCE THE SAME OLD SPIN… CHECK YAHOO AND FACTS CHECKER IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE ME…. HERE IS THE FACTS

A sampling of what voters heard in the ad, and what he didn’t tell them:

THE SPIN: “That’s why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year.”

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it’s not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

___

THE SPIN: “I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care.”

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: “I want to start doing something about it.” He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

___

THE SPIN: “I’ve offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost.”

THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama’s policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years — and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: “Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years.” The analysis goes on to say: “Neither candidate’s plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified.”

___

THE SPIN: “Here’s what I’ll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we’ll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. “

THE FACTS: His proposals — the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more — cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged — although not in his commercial — that: “The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals.”

And from another poster - let’s see what we are getting in taxes if voting for Obama..

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General Election
CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000
per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing
home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you
will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.
If you are heading toward retirement
and would like to down-size your
home or move into a retirement
community, 28% of the money you
make from your home will go to taxes. This
proposal will adversely affect the
elderly who are counting on the income
from their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% (no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock
market, IRA, mutual funds,
college funds, life insurance, retirement
accounts, or anything that pays
or reinvests dividends, you will now
be paying nearly 40% of the money
earned on taxes if Obama becomes president.
The experts predict that ‘higher
tax rates on dividends and capital gains
would crash the stock market’ yet
do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K - tax $8,400
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800
Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will
more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation
needed. This is pretty
straightforward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families
have lost businesses,
farms and ranches, and homes
that have
been in their families
for generations because they could not
afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved
ones will only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on
homes that are more than
2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if
gas weren’t high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources
consumption (heating
gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts
and last but not least…

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine
so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other
third-world countries

And… this one is good- do you want him managing your money?
Lavern,
Last November (2006), Obama made a promise to follow limited campaign financing. So….let’s talk about his campaign fundraising and expenditures so far, shall we?

This man has raised over $650 million. $150 million of it last month alone. So much for bad economic times, huh? With over $160.5 million going to the media (I’m wondering if the LA Times got a little something for holding onto that video!), over $44 million to those working for him, and only $26,000 to charity. When you take a look at the break down of his charitable giving - only 3 out of 15 donations were to individuals in increments less then $80! Wow - what a great example of a guy who plans to take my money to give to others in need.

By the way - it’s not HIS money. It’s money that belongs to the campaign. It’s money that mislead voters gave to him with the hope of change. So much for change…looks like more of same.

By the way, Obama’s in some heat for not keeping better records of campaign contributions. You’re only allowed to give $2,300 but people are giving a whole lot more then that by using different names and credit cards. One reporter found him name on the campaign donation and he’s voting for McCain! Others don’t have to give relevant tracking info if they’re giving in increments of $20-$80. So big celebs can give hundreds of $$ by making smaller individual donations with different names. Some of these celebs have donated thousands of $$$$!!!!!

Great Campaign Financing Reform Obama!!!!
