I was a vegetarian for nearly 30 years before following Dr. Barnard’s advice and adopting a vegan diet a few years ago. I was always pretty healthy, but now I have more energy and stamina, feel even better, and dropped my overall cholesterol by 40 points while raising my HDL (good) cholesterol. As I see it, there really are no good reasons to eat animals or animals products – and isn’t it nice to know what’s good for animals and the planet is also really good for your health. Kudos to Extra for airing this story!
