For the first time in its seven-year history, the Food Network's Wine & Food Festival has come to New York. The four-day event will be held from Thursday, October 9 through Sunday, October 12 -- and will take place primarily in the trendy Meatpacking District. Some of the legendary chefs and culinary personalities in attendance will be Giada De Laurentiis, Anthony Bourdain, Jessica Seinfeld, Paula Dean, Gordon Ramsey, Al Roker, Rocco DiSpirito, Bobby Flay and Nigella Lawson. There will be dining, wine and cheese tastings, seminars and book signings.

The most buzzed about event is the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Burger Bash. It will be presented by Blue Moon Brewing Company and hosted by Rachael Ray in Brooklyn at the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. The 1,000-strong crowd will vote for Best Burger. Other festival events include seminars like, "So, You Want to Write a Cookbook?" and "Beyond Chicken Nuggets: How to Raise a Healthy Eater," moderated by renowned chefs Alice Waters and Rachael Ray.
