'DWTS' Misty Recuperating from Surgery

Misty May-Treanor bowed out of "Dancing with the Stars" after suffering an injury to her Achilles tendon. Now, the pro volleyball's publicist has released an update on Misty's condition -- and a thank you to well-wishers.

The statement to "Extra" reads: "Thanks for all your concern and well wishes for Misty. I wanted to let you all know Misty had a successful surgery on her ruptured Achilles this morning. She is currently at home recovering. Her husband Matt is with her."

"Dancing with the Stars" continues tonight on ABC.

I am glad you are doing OK I will ask you like everybody was asking me after I had my acl repaired (artificial) do you feel like dancing??

sorry about your tendon misty hope u recover soon.i will never 4get this season it was my fav cause of misty but now that she is out i am sad sniffle sniffle. GET WELL SOON MISTY!!!!!
