Hilary Duff visited South Wayne Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Ind. to promote the Blessings in a Backpack program, a national program that sends food to low income students.

The former Disney diva is proud to give back, saying, "I feel lucky enough to have a voice or a name that people might pay attention to. I think that people might not be aware that a couple neighborhoods away, kids aren't having food on the weekends, and we just want people to be informed and to know what's going on in their communities and to help if they can." In May, Duff visited an Orlando elementary school.

The 21-year-old recently wrapped the animated "Foodfight!" alongside Charlie Sheen and Eva Longoria Parker.
