Jessica Alba Wants You to Declare Yourself

Actress Jessica Alba appears in this shocking Hannibal Lecter-type mask in the startling new campaign for Declare Yourself -- compelling young people to register to vote and go to the polls, rather than "silencing" themselves.

"These images, while incredibly unsettling, are extremely compelling to today's young adults," states Marc Morgenstern, Executive Director of the Declare Yourself campaign. "With less than 40 days left until the national election, we deliberately chose vivid and startling imagery to break through and underscore the grave consequences of not voting and in effect muzzling oneself."

What is wrong with you people!?!? Are they telling you who to vote for? NO. Are they telling you anything about the political platform either candidate is on? NO. They are telling you that millions of Americans are not registered to vote and many of them are young, and most likely some of you. They are expressing that young people have a voice and that they should use it to help change this country any way they can.. I hope all of you are registered to vote and that you choose to use your voice for something good instead of bashing what is right. Obviously they got you to think about it.. you made a comment!

How horrible of these uneducated celebrities!! They need to stick to acting and stay away from Politics, they really have no clue and for the innocent individuals who are not educated on Politics to follow these individuals who act for a living….. It is truly the blind leading the blind.

The other ad was way more better than this shocking one. Bad ad choice. You guys don’t have to go through all the trouble to make us go vote just say go to the polls and vote that’s it, don’t be so dramatic about it.

Shame on those celebrities using their fame to prey on the naivety of our young and shame on Extra for promoting their indecent proposal… Celebrities should stay neutral and keep their opinions to themselves…I think it’s terrible celebrities are using the power of their fame to encourage our young to follow-the-leader…
