Cloris Kicked Off 'DWTS'

1028leachman.jpg

After a nearly miraculous series of appearances, 82-year-old comic actress Cloris Leachman was voted off "Dancing with the Stars" last night. Leachman and pro partner Corky Ballas were in the bottom two alongside Susan Lucci and Tony Dovolani.

Leachman and Ballas scored a weak 15 for their Cha-Cha-Cha, last among the other competitors. During the entire competition, the couple had a difficult time staying out of the bottom two, but home voters kept them returning.

Cloris wasn't keen on the idea, saying, "You know, I'm not leaving. I'm going to get a pretty costume and be here next week. I'm going to sit right over there," as she pointed to a seat in the audience.

NEXT: House of Beyoncé

There were times when I did not think that Cloris would ever make it into the top ten (I was wrong).
I did not like it when she added a bit of comedy to some of her dance routines.
I did, however enjoy her “more elegant”
dances, imo.
I bet that there are women of her age who can dance with such poise, grace not to mention flexiblity (those leg lifts. Ouch).

I just love the laughs and the entertainment that flows from this Spit Fire of a Lady, but this is a DANCE competition and she just doesn’t seem to have reach the level that which we should expect from all that has reached this point in the show. It can not get nothing but better from here!!!!

Cloris, you were truly a delight to watch each week. Your performance was entertaining and you lifted your leg to heights that even a 40 year old cannot meet. I will miss you.

Sleek
