"Extra" snagged a question for the socialite from rocker John Mayer, who grilled Paris on her political views, focusing on the McCain/Palin platform on energy. "I was just wondering, how do you feel about Sarah Palin and John McCain's belief that energy is the main focus of international affairs?" John asked Paris via "Extra."

The heiress answered, "Good question John, but I think we should be focusing on things other than energy. Like fashion -- and purses!" Hilton adds, "See you at the debates!"

Last month, Hilton spoofed a John McCain ad on FunnyorDie.com -- by posting a campaign video promoting herself for the position of Commander-in-Chief.
