Hilary Swank was briefly hospitalized for the removal of a benign growth, and is currently recuperating in Los Angeles, reports People magazine.

The manager of the "Million Dollar Baby," Jason Weinberg, tells the mag re Hilary's ordeal, "After experiencing some discomfort she went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth."

Jason added, "Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation."

No other details have been provided on the 34-year-old, two-time Oscar-winner's condition.
