This story has had me upset since Tues. Steisand has no idea what ‘real’ life is like when you are not a multi-million aire who never worries about such things as raising of taxes, surging gas prices or other menial things like rising price of groceries. We, my husband & I, have a small company that we make a nice living for ourselves. Higher taxes is a real issue for us & most of the working population of this country. Unlike the daily problems of Ms. Streisand, whose bigges delimma of the day is what to wear, where to eat & who to hang out with. Why doesn’t she go cry about McCain to her other rich friends who care what she thinks. Her life is in no way like mine or most of the rest of the working population of this country. So why she thinks we care what she thinks is really beyond me & I’m sick of celebrities trying to act like they can relate to the ‘real’ world. Unlike most of us, Ms. Streisand will never worry about taxes & is ‘set’ for life financially. Why don’t people in the media ask some real people who work in this country what is really going on out here. I don’t think even the politicians really know what is going on in this country— illegal immigrants, drop out rate in schools, rising prices, working to make every dollar count, etc., etc.

Are you kidding me? I can’t believe that McCain would actually choose someone as inexperienced as Sarah Palin to be in the number 2 seat to run this country!!! Especially from a man who would be the oldest human ever elected to be the President. The same man who has lied to the American people so many times… Oh, now I know why he picked the other liar, Sarah Palin! Such an obviously political move! If American women who supported Hillary are so ignorant as to vote for a vice presidential nominee just because she is a woman…never mind that she is a polar opposite to Hillary Clinton in every way, then God help us all! It makes me sick to my stomach to think of where we will be in 4 years with those two in office! Please look at the facts! If you want things to improve in our country, then vote Obama/Biden in 08!!!

The only problem I have with Palin is that she does not see the reason McCain chose her. He stated that after watching the DNC he knew he had to pick a woman. He did not pick her because of her qualifications, he chose her because of her gender. For me as a woman, I found that disrespectful. I do not know much about Palin but I do know that she should not have down played Obama,s role as a community leader. Just like being the President of the U.S. you work for the people. When you are a community leader, you work for the people. That statement made me not want to learn more about Palin. What are they going to do in office? Forget Obama. Palin, please talk about the issues. I also believe that abortions are wrong but I also believe that it should be a womans choice. What if a 13 year old girl is raped and become pregnant? You will force her to keep the baby not knowing the trauma you could be forcing on this poor child. Think about that scenerio for a moment. Who wants to be reminded of a rape? It should be a womans choice.

I personally think she is an alien. Look at that nose!!!

Palin doesn’t even know what a VP does. She is also under investigation for abuse of power. It has been released recently that she has been caught lying once so far in the ongoing investigation. She was also for the Bridge to nowhere yet in her acceptance speech with McCain she clearly said she was against it. That makes to very recent lies. Sarah Palin even supports teaching creationism in public schools! She says global warming is NOT man-made showing she is siding with the BIG OIL Propagandists. She also said that Hillary Clinton is a whiner. Hillary Clinton advanced women in Poltics by many years and Sarah Palin is pushing it back many years by accepting to be chosen as a gimmick. -She has less exerience than SO many senators that have better records and have actually made decisions for more people than 600,000.
-She extended the hunting grounds for people in Alaska wishing to aerial hunt wolves…let me tell you that 90% of these hunted animals don’t die once shot; when they’re not shooting them to death they’re chasing them in a helicopter until they’re half dead. That book banner Palin’s Department of Fish and Game recently pulled 14 wolf cubs from their dens and shot each one in the head; their parents were killed just two weeks before while they claimed, “It was the humane thing to do.”
-She CONTINUALLY lies about the bridge to nowhere claiming that she said, “Thanks but no thanks.” Where the records show that she was all for it.
-She billed the state of Alaska $17,000 to live in her home…which yes, is a scam.

That’s only a small part of the disgusting human being she is. How dare someone claim to be pro-life when killing so many. All America’s doing is supporting Bush and Cheney all over again.

It seems in these days and times that all of us regular people are suppose to bow down to the elitist in Hollywood. Well, I don’t think so. They don’t have a clue how everyday hard working people in this country feel. They live in their own worlds.

Most of our presidents have been governors and they were never told they did’nt have enough experience. Barbara needs wo wake up. Gov.
