Did Oprah Ban Sarah Palin?

0904palin.jpg

Has Oprah Winfrey really nixed Republican VP nominee Sarah Palin from her show? Blogs are buzzing that Lady O put her Louboutin-shod foot down -- but O tells "Extra" -- that's false!

Sarah is more than welcome to appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" -- after the election. Oprah explained she'd already made a campaign promise that she "wouldn't use my platform for my own political interests."

Oprah has publicly endorsed Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Oprah is obviously much more far left and worldly in her opinions than any of us realized. She comes across as the ‘good old girl’ friend to all. She is subtle in letting this out. I do not watch her anymore. Her weird views on Christianity and the Bible lost many of us months ago. No more Oprah for me. She is a woman that is ‘wise in her own eyes.”

Not watching Oprah these days. She lost me when she came out with her weird ideas of Christianity. She seems fake and phony these days. She is obviously more far left, and liberal with her worldly views than any of us realized.

Yea, Oprah is a racist. I’ve been watching Oprah when she first started, when her shows were topics like “fat people being mistreated.” I watched cuz I was a bored teen and it became nothing more than habit. Her show did evolve, but then in the past years her show has become a platform for helping blacks. Not poor people, but blacks. Like during Katrina, as well as her school in South Africa. She didn’t want to open one here in a poor neighborhood, because she might have to help poor white people too.

Then there is the comment about having “white people” working for her. She mocked her OWN GRANDMOTHER on radio who said she might get to work for some good white people. Granted, the woman has done well for herself, but only because white people watched her show and made her what she is. We did not discriminate against her because she is black. If only black women watched her show, she never would have made it. Now she has us lured in with her “angel network” which my guess goes about 100% to blacks.

She went from being a humble person to someone who is arrogant, lectures people about giving all the while she has a “gold toilet.” Now I don’t fault anyone for success and having money, but couldn’t that gold toilet money been used to help a poor person???

She only donates when it is some big public event and she gets BIG recognition for it. She is arrogant and acts like she is some sort of saint. Which is why she loved obama because he acts annointed as well. The attitude is that they cannot be criticized.

After 20 plus years, I’m giving up watching Oprah. I would love to see her ratings drop so low that they cannot renew her show. She is arrogant enough to believe, “but I’m OPRAH!” Yea, let’s see what happens when white people stop supporting her.

Sure does seem that everyone that backs NoBama on here sure can’t spell very well. So what does that say about people who support him?

I believe that Oprah is definately a racist. It’s funny how the white people are the very one’s who put her on top and helped her to achieve her success but she must forget about all this since she’s raised to the top. You know, this could all be taken away from Oprah just as quickly as she has attained it. Oprah’s views on religion and Obama are twisted to say the least and I for one have chosen not to watch her programs at any time. Oprah is very uppity but I remember a time when she was a nobody, she has forgotten those times thanks to her white audience and the big bucks now.

Maybe I’m confused but isn’t Sarah only a vice presidential candidate? She is not even close to being Obama’s equal! Mr. Joe Biden was not invited to join Oprah. What’s the fuss? Get a grip America!

Its her show she OWNS it she can do what she damn well pleases. Has McCain been on her show? No so y the uproar for Palin cause they both are women? who the hell cares if one is black or white male or female? She doesnt endorse Palin or McCain so why would she have them on her show when she knows the viewing audience she has? ANd she didnt say Palin couldnt come on the show just after the election..thats fair when you own the damn company!!

P.S. If Oprah is racist, she learned from the best. The elder statesman of this Country! Your grandparents, white America!!!! So I guess Jews are racists, if they don’t vote for Germans! If I opress and kill your ancestors and make it harder for you to succeed, are you saying you would trust me and love me? HELL NO!!!! You think the American Indians have love for white America? But you killed most of them, so they can’t fight back. White America have shown something they are good at, WAR! Kill, kill, kill and inslave people to help you build and invent. It is very deceptive to call someone a racist, when the one saying it is the actual racist! I’ll dumb it down for you Palin voters. It’s like yelling out someone farted in a crowded room, when you are the one that actually farted! Oprah isn’t racist! The ones yelling she is are the ones that are!

What a dumb bunch of voters we have in America. You guys are mad that Palin won’t be on a entertainment talk show, when she won’t do Meet The Press? Why Oprah? So she can talk about her family and hockey and not real topics like the economy, education and the war! Give me a brake! The reason George Bush was voted in for 2 terms, is because the dummies who voted for him can relate to stupid. How dumb is America? Really damn dumb! The economy is a mess, gas is high, education sucks, the housing markets are dead, and kids are dying in a war we don’t need to be in, but yet you are upset about Oprah! lol I smell stupidity and racism! Vote for McCain, but don’t go killing yourself when your husbands can’t pay the mortage, because is company goes under. Or your kid gets jumped by a gang! Or dies in Irag a year out of high school! Just know that you voted for a policy that allows this mess, which makes you ANTI-AMERICAN! So, protest Oprah! Idiots!!!!

Just my words to ponder,

Clearly If Oprah and Obama were WHITE there would be a racist ISSUE for sure. I also think all the trash talking Obama is making tords McCain/Palin is only going to hurt him in the long run. Do we want Obama to role model for our Children, Country and future with his nasty remarks and comments?? I have lost all respect for Obama. Before you vote “THINK THINK THINK” Great words from winnie the pooh LOL! Jennifer, IL

Gwynne - you need to research and obtain facts. Almost every one of your statements is incorrect.

Palin TRIPLED funding for special needs students! She did not veto any such bill.

She oroginally backed the Bridge but after further review opposed it!

Although she belieives in creationism herself, she does not advocate it being taught in schools.

PLEASE PEOPLE, read from legitimate news sources, not Huffington Post garbage!

You are perpetuating false claims doing a disservice to OUR country!

REGARDLESS of WHOM you support, LOOK for the TRUTH!

Thank You Tabitha Harris, you are absolutely correct in regards to Obama being on Oprah’s show. Everyone else get off the bandwagon and do some research. Let’s over look the race and gender issue. Oh, and for those of you who say Oprah is racist. When did she become racist? Last week? Yesterday? Get a life. The race card is not accepted here….DECLINED!

Okay, so when the NY Post and NY Times both endorsed McCain, no one has anything to say. When the journalist write bias stories about Barak no one says anything…BUT, Oprah decides not to put Palin on her show and the country is in an uproar. Doesn’t the NY Times have a way of swaying voters. I mean, the NY Times is a paper that every paper strives to be like, but no one says anything. Fox News has been known to cater to right for many years, no one says anything, but the minute MSNBC notices it and starts catering to the left….goodness, there is an uproar. Let’s not make this about the petty and more about the issues. Really, aren’t we living in tough times? I guess not when the biggest issue is whether Oprah invites Palin as a guest. People, get off the bandwagon and look at the issues.

palin is republican. oprah endorsed barack. she should have thought twice before even asking oprah to come on her show. the bottom line is there will not be a republican president in office if the election is fare. our country is in terrible, terrible, hardships. we really need change.

And I can’t think of a more played out, cliche’d, ‘stuck in everywhere for no good reason’, and tired statement than that!
