Ryan O'Neal & Son in Meth Arrest

0917oneal.jpg

"Bones" star Ryan O'Neal and his 24-year-old son, Redmond, were taken into custody after cops performed a probation search at the elder O'Neal's Malibu home -- and reportedly found Redmond in possession of methamphetamine, and a vial of the drug in Ryan's bedroom!

According to the L.A. Times, father and son were taken into custody at Malibu/Lost Hills police station. Redmond -- whose mother is "Charlie's Angel" star Farrah Fawcett -- was popped last year for a DUI, and possession of heroin and crystal meth. He pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to a fine and three years probation.

Ryan's daughter, Tatum O'Neal, was arrested in June for cocaine possession. In February of 2007, Ryan and his other son, Griffin, were arrested on assault and firearm charges after a dispute at the actor's Malibu home.

I agree with the poster that talked about this family being sick with addiction. They all need serious help. I hope they can get their lives straightened out.

This family is sick with drug addiction and need alot of help. Instead of acting like they are scum of the earth, you might want to take a step back and have some compassion for this troubled family. Addiction can hit any family, rich or poor. They need serious help before it is too late and someone dies. Hopefully it is not too late for them.

Looks like Redmond is going to jail. It might be the best place for him at this point.

I really bad for Farrah. Here she is fighting for her life and having extra stress must be horrible.

Shame on Ryan and Redmond for being so selfish.

They both need to grow up and support Farrah.

Farrah get better and kick both of there asses!

Redmond is a self-centered brat! His mother is fighting cancer…she does not need the added stress.
