Nicole Did Not Visit DJ AM

Rumors have run rampant that Nicole Richie packed up and flew to South Carolina to visit her ex-fiancé Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) after he was severely burned in a plane crash -- but a rep for Richie nixed those stories.

Nicole's rep told "Extra" that the former "Simple Life" star spent the weekend in Los Angeles for her 27th birthday. "Nicole Richie didn't fly anywhere Saturday and on Sunday, was in L.A. celebrating her birthday," the statement reads.

Goldstein, 35, remains in critical condition in a Georgia hospital.

There is NO reason she should have NOT gone to see him. It just being a GOOD person. For god sakes me could have DIED. Then what? WOW.. VERY LAME.

Thank God they are ok. What a devastating thing to go through!
I know that Nicole Richie has moved on, but I also think it would be nice for her to at least send flowers, if not a personal visit to DJ AM. After all, they were together, and friends, for years.

Nicole is about being responsible, a good partner and a good mother. She’s doing positive things. Let’s encourage her and wish her well.
