I hate Mario Lopez. He makes EXTRA about Mario Lopez. Dayna and Mark were great. I understand that Mark went back to his music, and I am also pretty sure Mario wanted the whole spotlight. In NYC, EXTRA falls in the middle of the news. I have it on, but I mute it. I CAN’T STAND HIM! Let him take his over inflated ego, and his fake dimples, and get another gig.

I have to agree with most…the new Extra with Lopez sucks! I rarely watch it now, where I used to be addicted. His voice makes my skin crawl! I bet your ratings are in the hole. If I were Dana, I would tell the folks at Warner Brothers to “shove it where the sun doesn’t shine”. The executive who made the decision should be fired!

Who in the world made the decision to appoint Mario as the new host? That guy is impossible to take seriously, he’s over-confident, and simply comes across as a dimwit.
I used to watch the show religiously, now I have to turn the channel. Everyone needs to get over this ‘Mario thing’ and see that he’s got nothing to offer.

I used to watch Extra all the time, and I really enjoyed Dayna and Mark. I miss seeing them and I have to admit that having Mario as the new host makes it hard to watch. When you change the host/hosts of a show you change the personality of the show and unfortunately for you, the ratings.

Bad decision. How are the ratings? Dana was the perfect host. Great personality. To take her away was a mistake. Replacing her with Mario is an even bigger mistake. Mario can do reports, but he’s not capable of hosting the show. Just not a good fit for him or the show.

My God, what were you thinking to get rid of Dana and Mark and replace them with the very over confident Mario. Entertainment Tonight is my choice now. Very Very bad choice!

I have ceased watching Extra TV since you changed your format, fired Dana and replaced her with Mario. He is a pompous,conceited twit with no personality. You have ruined your show and I will not watch again until you get rid of Mario. My friends agree as well as radio personalities,newspapers, etc. Entertainment Tonight is now my favorite. Hope you read all the negative comments that have been made and come to your senses.

I have given the show a week and I can’t take it anymore. Mario is horiffic! Please bring Dana and Mark back. They had chemistry. There is no chemistry with Mario. The new format is terrible. Bring back the old Extra!!!

Sorry I don’t think Mario is a good host. Mario is handsome, but I don’t like his voice. I won’t be able to watch Extra any longer. I liked Dayna & Mark. I thought they worked well together.

I still watch Extra, I’m somewhat of an addict to it. But I must say the show isnt as good without Dayna and SugarRay. I loved them, and not too fond of Mario doing the show.
