McCain Camp: Fey's 'SNL' Sketch Was 'Sexist'

"Saturday Night Live" fans hailed Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin as a spot-on spoof of the would-be GOP VP -- but John McCain's advisor, Carly Fiorina, was not amused!

"The portrait was very dismissive of the substance of Sarah Palin, and so in that sense, they were defining Hillary Clinton as very substantive, and Sarah Palin as totally superficial," Fiorina told MSNBC. "I think that continues the line of argument that is disrespectful in the extreme, and yes I would say sexist." Well!

Carly continued, "Just because Sarah Palin has different views than Hillary Clinton does not mean that she lacks substance. She has a lot of substance."

The Governor's own spokesperson, Tracey Schmitt, said Palin had a good laugh over the sketch with the press corps on her plane. "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween," Schmitt said.

Joe,
Tell me what it is about the last eight years that you like so much. You are not paying attention. Obama’s plan to address every issue are laid out in great detail on his website, www.barackobama.com. McCain plans to continue the same failed policies of Bush. Do you want a man who graduated at the bottom of his class at Annapolis or one who graduated at the top of his class from Harvard Law School? Are you really that uninformed?
P.S. I am also a Navy Viet Nam veteran and most of us are for Obama because McCain has voted against every veterans bill. The Republicans are great at running campaigns but lousy at running the country. Check out a liitle history.

Are you kidding me? That was the funniest sketch ever and jabbed Sarah and Hillary equally. Sarah is the least qualified candidate in history, yet anytime someone mentions a fact about her past, they call them sexist. She chose to leave her pregnant daughter and disabled baby to jump in the spotlght. If you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Why do think say the Barack is the devil? That is a strong statement. You must be his father, because you sure sounds like the devil. Let me asked you a question. It it because Barack is black or is it because you look like and think like the devil. I am sorry for you, really.

Come on people look around you, we cannot focus on what some people deemed as sexist, Palin’s attention will not or cannot fix our economy. Enough of Palin, our country is lost and our families are suffering these are the issues that we need to focus on.

Just one thing, it’s comedy. It was satire.

Someone wanna talk about the issues as America spirals very rapidly down the toilet? Guess not. Most people too busy with their precious culture wars.

I got news for you George…both sides are skirting the issues…I have no idea what either one of them stand for!
I do know that Obama is too Hollywood…so McCain will be my choice.

I think the McCain camp should stop watching televison and talk about the real issues on hand. We’ve been spending too much time talking about Palin and too little time discussing the real issues of the campaign.
