Very simply, Lucille Ball starred in Dremgirl in late June. The baby was born in early June. And it ran in 2 weeks stints. Various different actresses played in it, not just Lucille Ball. That’s how I know.

Hey Julia! Just FYI on your grandmom’s professional activities in 1947…she was filming LURED into January (completed on the 10th, to be precise); She began filming HER HUSBAND’S AFFAIRS on February 17, completed March 25, 1947. Retakes were shot in early May. She began touring with the play DREAM GIRL in June and continued that through to January 1948. Hope that helps

I have heard the rumor of a baby before Lucille left Jamestown. Supposedly with the dude Johnny DeVita.

So, that was not in 1947. The baby rumor has gone on and on. Rumored baby or abortion.

Even during the the time that she was stricken with arthritis. Rumor mill flew once again that during this arthritis event, there was a supposed baby or the claims of a botched abortion, which I seriously doubt, But who cares.

These two events happened way before 1947 and way before Lucy met Desi.

Everyone loves Lucy and Desi and would not go around saying things about them.

Why can’t Cassandria do her thing in private instead of where everyone can see or hear her? IF she really loved Lucille and Desi, i’m sure that she would conduct herself privately.

Lucy was in the movies before she was “Mrs Desi Arnez”. Now, I don’t know if Lucy and Desi were married when she may have given a baby away, but Lucy had her acting, dancing, romancing and so on, to look forward too. In the earlier days, and if she hid a pregnancy, she could have laid low for a few months, out of the country, and given birth. Some women can keep something like this very secret forever. Look at Loretta Young and Clark Gable, no one knew of their love child till she was a middle age woman. So, a lost grandchild could be believable.

ANYBODY that has ever read or heard anything about Lucille and Desi know for a fact 100% how much they wanted children. EVERYONE that has seen Lucille in pictures of Dream GIrl know that there is no way that she could hide a pregnancy. Y’all saw how big she was with Lucie and Desi Jr. GOOD GRIEF.
Seems like some of you need to actually read about Lucille and know what kind of person she was, before you make claims. Read, read, and do research on her or talk to the people who knew her. Like I said, the majority of true LUcy fans know that she could not have had a child during this time. Can you not leave Lucille’s name out of this? and leave her alone? Can you imagine how much this would hurt her by some of the things that these crazy allegations are saying? Please give the WHOLE Arnaz familly some peace. Leave them alone.
