This woman is crazy!From what I know about this story and about the REAL Lucille Ball, it is IMPOSSIBLE!
1-Lucille Ball`s biggest dream was to have a kid, and by the time, she`d reather have a kid than to have a big, wonderful career.
2-That woman would already have had shown up a long time ago.Our country is goign through a bad time now, I`ll bet you she wants money so she can have something to eat tomorrow!
3-She keeps on comparing her kid to Desi.Pardon me, but he does not has a single sell that look like Desi.None of them look like the Arnaz/Ball.
4-She is making such a big deal out of it, and my god, she must be making millions.That must be why she keeps on with this story.
5-Even if she was a real Arnaz/Ball, She should keep her mouth shut, and stop boathering everyone!
Well, I cloud stay here the whole night saying why the is NO WAY AT ALL she is an Araz/Ball, but I have to go!

There has been so many personal attacks on her character,from her fake nieghbors,to fake drug counslors,
I know for a fact a drug counslor
would not say those this to a woman in recovery,and I am one of Julia’s nieghbors,so thats how I know they are fake,just yesterday Julia and her husband helped our nieghbor get to the hospital because her husband had just died 15 min earlier,and also when our nieghbor Cathy’s husband died Julia was the first one to bring her a tray a bkd ziti,and that ment so much to Cathy.
All Julia ever said is that she does not believe this story, and how can you blam her it is very far fetched. 20/20 now I would love to see this story get on that show just to see how Mr’s Carlson answers all these allegations. I do not know 100 percent if this is true or not true, but me just like Julia and all the other skeptics are only stating facts they read about lucille during the time of pregnancy.

Look at how Governor Palin hid her pregnancy from her entire staff!!!! Not one person knew she was pregnant, let alone with a DS infant.

People can research Lucy’s movie history all they want to see if she was out of work. This decision was obviously between her and Desi. They may have desparately wanted a baby but they were separated so often, who knows why they made their decision.

Physical characteristics are a giveaway and the child looks just like Desi. Her hair started out blond, as some children’s do but she later turned into a brunette and as a teen even looked like Lucie Arnaz. You can’t beat that for proof. Plus, the PI that was hired believed the evidence he saw.

@lucyfan: An actress back then hid a pregnancy the same way Loretta Young did. Everyone is acting as if this isn’t plausible. Well look at the pictures.

I don’t know if the woman is Lucy’s but she sure as hell is the spitting image of Desi Arnaz, Sr. and his kids. Even as a teen, she and Lucie resemble.

Fans don’t want to know the personal stories about celebs unless they happy go lucky stories all the time. Well, sometimes they have skeletons in their closets too.
Jack Worthington is saying he’s JFK’s son and the resemblance is soo strong. His mother told him of his paternity but I believe she didn’t think it would go public. Now she’s denying the story.
As for this Julia girl. She needs family therapy and it should include her father, Desi, Jr. Goodness.

Oh please. Has anyone see a picture of this womans’ mother?!! She looks exactly like Desi and his kids with Lucy. There’s no doubt in my mind she is who she says she is. No doubt. I hope someone comes forward so she can get the DNA out of the way and tell the REST of this story.
Lucille Ball was all about her career. I’m a fan but personally, her children were raised by nannies. She and Desi were workaholics. There’s nothing that can be done about that now. Celebrities do have personal lives and decisions to make and sometimes we find out things about our parents that we didn’t know.
It took years for Desi, Jr. to even acknowledge his daughter and it was odd he came to paternal realization after his daughter was about to help Ms. Carlson. This woman wants nothing from the Ball/Arnaz estate, just acknowledgement.
This story should be on 20/20.

I re-read the pages of the Kathleen Brady bio, that deal with this time period and there is nothing there that says Lucy was holed up in her home for months with only a couple of friends visiting her during this time. The pages, for anyone who is interested, are in chapter 11, 154-157. Rather than hinting that she was pregnant during this time, Brady notes that Desi wasn’t around much, and tells the story about how badly Lucy wanted children, doting on the babies of her friends and sobbing over her inability to have her own (pages 155-156).

Also, if Carlson and all her friends claim to have all these documents and other “proof” why didn’t they offer it when they came out with this story? All they offered, apparently, was a birth certificate with another woman’s name (Helen Barnes) on it. Where are the baptismal certificates, birth certificates, photos, etc., that you claim exist, Auntie Lanie? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? If you have them, go to court and ask a judge to demand a DNA test, rather than going on and on with this proposterous nonsense. If Carlson really respected the Arnaz family, she would hire a lawyer, go quietly off to court and save herself the embarrasment. P.S. Neither Lucie or Desi, or any of their combined four biological children was blond or had freckles.

As a historian, I have been following this diligently (it’s part of my research project.) The Devita child is rumor there are no facts at all surrounding the child. We’ve pulled all kinds of public information on her and know that she’s a DEVITA born child. Period. The Devita child allegedly born 2-3 years before Lucille’s leg incident which happened when she was in her late teens this is according.

As historians we have pulled photos of the alleged Devita child and she and all the Ball-Arnaz’s including the “alleged” and there are no resemblances at all not a one. The Devita child is Italian and looks nothing like Lucy at all or any of the Ball Hunt side. Not like Madeline looked like Lucy and Lucie.

You are correct Dream Girl did begin in LATE June 1947. It is FACT that Lucille had her dresses altered by Harriet during the filming of Husband’s Affairs. Studio noted it. Why have them let out? It’s all very suspect.

I have been keeping up with the “alleged” granddaughter on her myspace. She’s apparently laying low as she’s found out she’s w/baby and in delicate condition.

I saw a photo she recently posted of Madeline and Lucie Arnaz. They could almost be twins like Julia and the alleged. It’s scary how much they all look a like on that side of the family.

I don’t like to reference the books, as they seem to be all over the place. Here’s what I found.

In the book “Love, Lucy” edited (mind you edited) by Lucie where according to Hannah Hoffman the book was cut more than 35 pages of original text by Lucie. Lucille Ball references her ONLY six-month vacation-ever in her life where she was not under contract with any studios in early 1947 to late June 1947. She then flew out to NY to make it to the Dream Girls start which Lucille took over in very late June 1947 if not the last day in June.

In the book “Lucille” by Kathleen Brady, Brady stated that Lucille’s coming and goings got very hard to track from late 1946-1951 and that most of what is written was questionable as Lucille was not under contract with the exception of Dream Girls in 1947-1948. It’s also stated that Lucille’s radio appearances were pre-recorded. Most of Lucille’s visible footwork from November 1946-June 1947 was minimal at that. Brady also stated that Ball during May to June 1947, would not allow anyone to her house and suffered from a nervous breakdown and did not want anyone to see her other than two very close friends who stayed with her during that time who forever remained close confidants to Ball.
