Lucy & Desi's Long Lost Grandchild?

They continue to charm worldwide audiences in "I Love Lucy" reruns -- now a woman is claiming Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz hid a love child that would have ruined their public image!
According to the NY Post, Cassandria Lucianna Carlson, 38, believes she's the granddaughter of the comedy duo -- and that her mother was put up for adoption before "I Love Lucy" aired -- reportedly to prevent ruining Ball's plans for stardom.
While no DNA test has been conducted to examine Carlson's lineage claims, she insists she has evidence to support them -- including a memory of being visited by Lucille herself!
Desi Jr. and Lucie Arnaz, the couple's two children, did not respond to the Post's request for comment.

Everyone,
By legal advice, my mother and our family will not entertain this sort of banter, nor does she respect that any comparisons are being made against “probable” family relations. Under no circumstance, will banter with and/or against anyone who is either in our family or in alleged persons of our family be tolerated. Our time is much more valuable than scanning the blogs. My mother did an interview on a top radio station this morning and we will have this posted on myspace soon.
The alleged cousins, have nothing to do with my grandmother’s search or my alleged great grandmother’s relationship with her daughter or my mom.
As far as alleged uncle/cousin relationship is concerned which is flowing all over the Internet, my mother has no comment and can only speculate on that aspect of the recent story published on 9/2/08. We continue to state that her mother and my grandmother’s story have no relevance to the father/daughter story nor should it be suspect in any fashion.
Thank you for your time and respectful understanding. Our camp refuses to rebel rouse, as it is terribly unprofessional, we are far above that and will not entertain such behavior. The persons in my mother’s camp will not entertain an/or banter idle gossip and freedom of speech.
With much respect,
Christopher
