John McCain, Confidential!

0904mccain.jpg

Tonight the Republicans will make it official -- McCain is their man!

"Extra" has uncovered a few little-known facts about the GOP prez hopeful. While Paris Hilton dubbed him "white-haired dude" in her spoof video, McCain long ago earned the nickname White Tornado for his prematurely white locks. After graduating from the Naval Academy, McCain dated a stripper known as "Marie the Flame of Florida!"

Meanwhile, John's running mate Sarah Palin took the national stage and slammed the media's focus on her unwed, pregnant teen daughter. As for rumors Bristol and Levi secretly tied the knot? They're not true -- but "Extra" did spot a small "Bristol" tattoo on the hockey jock's ring finger. Now word of a Palin affair is making the rounds.

Time magazine's Mark Halpern suggests that despite the scandalous headlines, the GOP may actually be benefiting from the pregnancy controversy. The Republican Party raked in over $10 million in the past few days.

hey, nc one, just cause the media puts a positive light on the obamas whenever they’re mentioned, doesn’t automatically mean that they are ‘classy’. Read some other periodicals - dig deep on both sides!

NC ONE: It’s a fool’s game to confuse bravado and grandiose proclamations with actual ability and experience. I guess, though, that obama’s speeches of omnipotence are tailor-made for people LIKE YOU. McCain is just as sensitive to these issues and more, that affect EVERYONE, not just a certain group. We’d all like to think that someone’s going to come out with a big magic wand, and erase all the problems; to perpetuate that idea w/o ANY basis, is foolish. I’d have more respect for him if he just admitted that it’s going to be difficult, or show some fallability (which he of course has, just like anyone else).

Lee, the Obamas deserve the respect they have received from the media, they are very classy in the way they have handled people like you. The Obama camp sticks to the issues that matter most to Americans, such as the economy and healthcare. I did not hear McSame talk about what he would do for those issues.

Independant Voter? you’re not an independant Voter! You are a Republican…don’t try to confuse yourself. Why not just call Obama and Oprah”uppity”, like your Gov. Westmoreland. Those black never know their “place” do they?
And try to quote people correctly. Michelle said “for the first time I am REALLY proud…” meaning, even though I love my country, the fact that my husband, (who is not White and would have been lynched in the good-ol-days,)can run for the highest office.
As for Oprah, I’ve been to her show and she spends a time before and AFTER with “the little people”. have you see “The After Show”? It’s on Oxygen(soon to be O Network)
Yep, you are a Republican only a Republican could be so mean-spirited and racist. Claim your spot and be proud of what you are. Don’t hide behind “independents”

Independant voter: you are very distasteful in your comment about Obama, you are a disgrace for saying such a thing… but with that kind of talk you only inspire people that are not decided to not want to be apart of the hate. Shame on you, whatever the point you have tried to make is lost in the message of hate.

I have to say that the media is definately biased on the side of Obama. I think the media is afraid not to, because Oprah & all the stars seem to put Obama on some kind of pedestal. I think he is no better than Osama Bin Laden & that Oprah should get back to her roots. The little people made her what she is, but if they are on her show, she barely acknowledges them anymore, but a “STAR” she is all over them like flies on you know what. Obama will owe so many favors to these people that he will never be able to make a choice of his own, & do not forget that the only time his wife has been proud to be an American is when they nominated her husband for president! Well. if she was not a Proud American, what is she doing here? Go hide out in a cave with Bin Laden.

NC ONE: Look back through the month and you’ll see that you are incorrect. While the obamas have been paraded through the site like celebs, really the first mention of McCain started w/ paris, then continued in that vein til the “BABY MAMA DRAMA” of Sen. Palin and family. The obamas have been dealt w/ nothing but respect, and yes, the gallery of stars IS predominantly obama endorsing. They practically run the republicans out of town over there in lala land.
