Bill's 'View' of the White House

0922clinton.jpg

Former President Bill Clinton has some thoughts on who should occupy his former home at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -- and he shared his two cents with the ladies of "The View."

"I believe Obama will win," Clinton states matter-of-factly. Bill shared that he believes conditions are right for Dems to reclaim the presidency -- and reveals that wife Hillary didn't want to play second-in-command on Barack's ticket! "Not really, no," Bill admitted, when asked if Hill wanted to be VP.

When asked about the former Hillary supporters who threw their support to McCain after the GOP nom chose Sarah Palin as a running mate, Clinton responded, "We vote for some people because we identify with them on race or gender... it's not an entirely rational process, and it's different for everybody." He adds, "You can't tell someone else that the grounds on which they make their voting decision is irrational."

The former Commander-in-Chief went on to say that he believes sexism has been a factor in the race -- and that the debates could change everything.

CW Right, re: ‘above all “a woman’s right to choose” should be the first thing on your mind’. That is an outdated and irrelevant statement, with the country now being in the shape it’s in now. No one’s messed w/ a woman’s right in thirty-five years, and we’ve had a couple of ‘pro-life’ presidents in that time. There are many, many more pressing concerns right now, and to vote according to just one is not wise. Just because someone is pro-life, does not NECESSARILY mean they’re going to force everyone to be - they have a right to their feelings, morals, and religious reasons for being that way as anyone who differs. I’d be more scared of someone who wants partial-birth abortions, like the little fist-face pictured in the story. But now you see, there were SO MANY worse things about him, that it didn’t even matter! Anyway, dem or rep running the country - no easy job, and good luck. Radical or socialist running the country - good luck to us, because if bc is right(he’s been wrong so often, that I hope his streak isn’t broken) about ob, OH, BOY.

to cwright… Thank you for the nice comment you left.. You had asked if i was only voting for mcain cause he choose a woman has his v.p.. Why am voting for mcain , had nothing to do with him picking a woman… My mind was already set a few months back , before Mr. Mcain had Picked Sarah Palin… I wanted to leave a little note for cwright.. No on why i am voting for Mr.Mcain, if him picking Sarah Palin was the reason why i was voting for him… No, my mind was set for John Mcain, a few months back before he had announced his V.P. pick.. However, I do think that perhaps it is time for a woman to help run the oval office… Even if Obama had choose Hilary, which she may have not even accepted, or she had, either way, i still think that a woman can do has much as any man,and nobody has the right to put a woman down, just because some may think that ,the VP’s job is only for a man… That’s not the case .. A Woman can do just has good, if not better than a man sometimes… And i think that a lot of people are scared of Sarah Palin.. Due to the fact she went to town and cleaned house even in her own state of Alaska.. And included her own Republican party… How many politicans do you know that would do that..? Only the One’s who are turely and honestly ,want to do the right thing… And everyone is entitled to their own views and opnions as well, And this is how i fell on it… thank you for hearing me out..- Amy

Obama’s Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya . It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Oba ma, is Odinga’s follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone.

Obama’s cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians’ homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth.

Good for you Amy, however I hope you are not one of the folks that’s voting McCain just because he picked a woman for the ticket….above all “a woman’s right to choose” should be the first thing on your mind. Even God wants everyone to have “free will”, then let
them “reap what they sow”….it is not up to one religion to take precident over another in a FREE COUNTRY!!!

you are damn right Bill Clinton, about the race being sexism..!!! and the news, campiagn people have all made sure of that… Just because Sarah Palin is a woman, they act like she doesn’t know what she’s doing.. It seems to me she’s been doing things pretty damn well… And the crap of slamming her, and her children, and husband, I have never seen people act the way they do.. Holly Crap!! grow up Obama’s team… Think of something that actually would even make any kinda sense whats so ever… I know i will watch when they do the presidental debates and the vp debates.. I hope to god Sarah Palin chews Joe Biden up for lunch, and she will show who has the common sense when they get done with that… I will be voting 4 Mcain and Palin ticket….
