The Dating Site -- For Married People?!

Peter Cook slept with his teenaged mistress -- John Edwards may have a love-child -- and we've all heard about Stray-Rod's alleged infidelity. Now, "Extra" is investigating cheaters -- and talking to the man behind AshleyMadison.com, a dating service that helps people cheat!

NEXT: Rumer Confirms New Beau!

My (soon to be ex) husband was a member of this site (ashleymadison) as well as several other married dating sites. These are not like match.com and eharmony at all (in response to the previous post that claimed they were). These are pornographic sites specifically created to facilitate the deception and betrayal of families. It’s not just the spouse and children of the cheater who suffer either. My husband, who did have physical affairs with women off of these sites, tried to kill himself after I caught him and filed for divorce. These websites and the behavior they encourage DESTROY LIVES. You have to be some kind of moral cesspool to create a site like this.

This website is so wrong. Either the founder has been cheated on,& he wants to exact revenge on everyone, or he truly has no morals whatsoever. Whatever the reason behind the creation, he is sick & twisted. To be on the receiving end of a cheater’s actions is the most pain one can experience; the body forgets physical pain, but the heart doesn’t. If one wants to cheat, own up, and do the right thing by ending the relationship. These sites just make me sick, and sad for the state of our society.

While it is true that if people want to cheat, they will, I don’t think that it is right for someone to create an avenue for them to do it. I am a married woman and would never want to cause my husband that kind of pain. I guess society doesn’t really care about the seriousness of taking those vows. I firmly believe that if you want to do what single people do, you should be single. There are too many diseases going around for someone to just be out there cheating on the person that they are suppose to love. Plus, it is morally wrong. They may make a lot of money off of complicating the lives of others and might argue that they don’t force people to go to their website. That just shows the state of our world and how much of a downfall we are heading for.

This should be illegal. If someone feels the need to cheat and is actually planning on cheating then they just need to get a divorce and save the other person that heart ache! Sure they will be hurt reguardless but at least this way they won’t feel as if they have been wronged and it will be much easier on them than if they find out that they have been cheated on!

Gimme a break. Why is this a story, because it’s specifically targeted? Match and Eharmony can also be used by married people to cheat. Fundamentally it’s all a lie, no?

Did Mario Lopez produce this piece? It’s right up his alley. The whole cheating thing.
