Paris Hilton Responds to McCain

The socialite has teamed up with FunnyorDie.com to create a spoof in response to GOP presumptive nominee John McCain's ad, in which he called Barack Obama "the biggest celebrity in the world" -- and likened him to Paris. Hilton poked fun at McCain for being "the oldest celebrity in the world" in her "campaign" video -- which was produced in the Hamptons by Brooke Shields' hubby, Chris Henchy.

McCain's camp has issued this response to the Paris video: "It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain's 'all of the above' approach to America's energy crisis -- including both alternatives and drilling. In reality, Paris Hilton may have a more substantive energy policy than Barack Obama."

I have never liked Paris Hilton more. Actually didn’t care either way about her before. Rock on. Thank you for not taking that lying down. New found respect and kudos for you.

I love how McCain’s camp ‘got it’!!! So cool! Too bad poor little paris did not. McCain was commenting on obama’s lifestyle, not hers. She’s the most recognizable starlet (right now), which is why he likened the senator to her. The behavior is appropriate for her, not obama - get it yet, paree??
