The Online Fashion Mags You Need to Know
Drop those monthly glossies at once! They're soooo yesterday. By the time you slog through that doorstop of a September Vogue, its content is as stale as last night's perfume. If you really want to be a style trailblazer, subscribe to the super-cool online fashion mags and blogs cropping up all over the net. With their au courant content that is constantly updated, you'll be way ahead of the prowling Prada pack!
The New York Times recently handpicked some must-bookmark sites, and we wholeheartedly agree!
Fashion156.com is out of London, with gorgeous visuals and a great sense of humor -- a terrific fashion blog. One of their contributors is Susie Bubble, who has her own amazing site called "Style Bubble."

"Thread" was hatched from the BBC with a very clever slogan -- "Fashion Without Victim," focusing on the eco-fashionista. Hi-tech graphics with a low-tech typewriter font make this visual knockout a great read.
Hint.com feels the most like a magazine. There are columns, in-depth interviews, great street-fashion photos. It's chock-full of all things fashion, but doesn't take itself too seriously.
Iconique.com is an elegant example of how a high-stylin' webzine should look. Founded by Dutch designer Joost van Gorsel in 2000, they have trend news, great photos, even a beauty section with some provocative fashion "vodcasts" you can download to your iPod.

"The Business of Fashion" is from a Harvard MBA's point of view. The blog's creator, Imran Amed (also out of England), has lots of great tips on starting a fashion business, and he sources illuminating articles about the biz.
And for all you style guys out there, definitely check out "The Sartorialist," started by Scott Schuman, a former Bergdorf Goodman men's fashion director, this popular site is filled with man-on-the-street photos of the most fashionable folks from around the globe, with the accent on men!
