I loved the three Judges and Ryan as Host. I don’t know why they feel they need a fourth judge. The three they have are very intelligent enough to judge the contestants. I know that Simon’s answers are more of a put on which has made him famous, and to me he is still a doll, his girlfriend is very fortunate to have him. I think he is funny with a great sense of humor. paula, I enjoy her as she tries to be really kind to eveyone, so she may slur her words and may forget what she is saying and sometimes she doesn’t make sense, but she has medical issues and everyone should over look that. The thing is she knows a good voice when she hears it. And Randy does also. They are all great judges and really don’t need a fourth. but we will see how it goes, if ratings drop then they should go back to the old way of doing things. Can’t wait to see you guys all in action again in Jan. The best show on TV.

Well…why don’t you give it a try first and see how the audience will react…why prejudge someone who hasn’t even said a word yet!!! She has the credentials for a judge so GO FOR IT!!! Maybe the producers are trying to see how it will be … maybe someone is being replaced in the future so they need to see if there will be a good chemistry with her…

I LOVED when they had the guest judges whose songs the contestants were singing that week - I don’t know why that was cut; it was one of my favorite themes. I don’t really know this songwriter that well, but I’m sure she’ll add a voice from a different perspective. Maybe they’re just trying to get the negative attention off of Paula’s ‘eccentricities’, or, maybe, dare I hope, they’ll get rid of seacrust!!!

Terrible idea, this may work for the X-Factor but not for Idol. The dynamic between the judges and host is perfect. They’re all friends, and now theres a boring relatively unheard of who won’t contribute a thing that the judges don’t All the rules are already being played, bad idea Idol. Although it may boost ratings due to interest at the new girl..

This is so stupid. WHY fix something that runs perfectly? The 3 judges and Ryan had perfect chemistry. Now a new person will screw everything up!

I’m not watching American Idol now since you are adding on another judge. This is just rediculous!
